An excellent day from start to finish. Well paced, with lots to see and do, but never feeling rushed. We had an excellent guide and driver. Pick up from the hotel was exactly when they said it would be. I was kept up to date through WhatsApp and my ferry tickets were sent to me the day before I travelled, exactly as promised. The tarsiers are wonderful and we even got to see one with its eyes open. The views from Chocolate Hills are stunning. Put this on your to do list now! You won't regret it.

The tour guide was very friendly, but the price was high for spending 6 hours on transportation during the day…

Tarsier monkeys are fantastic! Bohol roads are narrow and congested especially after a rain. We missed our return ferry after longer than expected travel back to the port. Weather is not in any tour operator's control, but communicaiton about the alternative options is. And this was not optimal. In retrospect - the lunch on the boat is unnecessarily long and seems like a major tourist processing machine.

I liked the tour. The guide gave us a lot of interesting information, both on the history and the customs. The main things to see where the chocolate hills, the tarsiers and the river cruise. The blood compact monument is a very short stop at a modern statue; the church is interesting but like many others; and at the mahogany forest we didn't stop, just went through. We spent most of the time travelling (on the boat to and from Bohol, and on the car), but that was expected. What I didn't like was that I had to wait a lot of time in the morning before taking the boat to Bohol: expected pickup was at 6 am, but actual time was shortly before 7 am, and the boat departed after 8, which resulted in almost two hours wasted waiting. With a different planning, I could have slept more :-)

What a great experience! Our tour guide, Dolli, was phenomenal. She was witty and very knowledgeable. Her passion for her island made the trip more impactful. Even the heavy rain at the Loboc River turned to be an amazing experience versus an inconvenience. The food was great too. This is a must do when visiting Cebu City or Bohol. Please note that if you are starting the tour from Cebu City, you’ll be spending about 4 hours of the tour on the ferry to and from Bohol. The accommodations were good but it can feel long.
