Chateau Bojnice, one of the oldest and undoubtedly most charming monuments in Slovakia. The last aristocratic owner, Count John Palfy, decided to rebuild the castle into a romantic chateau in the Gothic Revival style. As a model, he used the French castles of the Loire valley. Admire the fully furnished interiors on your guided castle tour. Lunch break and drive to the fairy-tale Cicmany village, famous for its painted wooden houses. Our professional and passionate guide-driver will make your day lovely, meaningful and memorable.

We'll continue to Cicmany village.(40min drive through scenic Strazovske hills), - famous for its wooden houses with white ornaments. We are happy to show you a lovely piece of Slovakia. Return to Bratislava (2hrs drive). During the tour, you'll get a 2000 year history overview, the turbulent 20th century, WW1, Establishment of Czechoslovakia, WW2, Establishment of Czechoslovak Socialist Republic, Communism, Velvet Revolution, Slovak Republic and present-day life. 5.00Best day of our trip to Slovakia! Thank you, Peter, for the great day trip to Bojnice and Cicmany. The Chateau and the small village were great, the drive through the Slovak regions relaxed and very nice. The highlight, however, was Peter’s knowledgeable and personal anecdotes about his home country, which made us get to know and understand Slovakia and its inhabitants properly. In addition, the booking process by email was super fast and friendly and the price totally fair. We can only recommend Best Slovakia Tours – please keep it up!

5.00Best SlovakiaTours recently organised a 10 day tour of Slovenia, with Tour Guide Martin in charge. We had an excellent and fascinating time in this beautiful country, exploring castles, ancient towns and spectacular gorges. Martin looked after us extremely well as usual a d made sure that we got a huge amount of pleasure from the sights we saw and explored. This was our third trip with Best Slovakia Tours with Martin at the helm and recommend that if you are considering visiting Europe you give Peter ad Jane a call. They will listen to your wishes and plan accordingly for accomodation and times.
