Historical Background St. Jovan Vladimir was a 10th-century Serbian prince and ruler of Duklja, an area that encompasses parts of present-day Montenegro. Renowned for his piety and dedication to Christianity, he was martyred in 1016 and later canonized as a saint. His legacy continues to be honored in the region, with the church serving as a focal point for his veneration. Architectural Features Constructed between 2006 and 2016, the church was designed by architect Predrag Ristić in the Serbian-Byzantine style.
