If you enjoy the wonders of Italian cuisine and goods, then you will absolutely love this tour. It is unbelievable the access you get on the cheese farm and you don’t know what balsamic vinegar can taste like until you come to Modena. By the end of the trip, we all wanted more.

We had a great time during the cheese, wine, and balsamic vinegar tour, and it was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip to Bologna. Luca (Luca Ricci) is an exceptional guide—his deep knowledge of Italian culture and Italian traditions really brought everything to life. It turned what could have been a simple tasting tour into an immersive cultural journey. The tours were perfectly paced. We visited small, authentic family producers where the staff/ owners themselves shared their craft in relaxed, personal settings. Every stop felt intimate and unhurried—the group often had the spaces to ourselves, which made the experience feel special and far from touristy. The grand finale was a 6-course meal that left our stomachs bursting! Luca also shared more about the local culture, customs and traditions here. If you want more than just food—if you want to understand the customs, the people, and the stories behind what you’re eating—this is the tour to book. Highly recommend!

Joined the tour for Parmigiano Reggiano, Balsamic vinegar and wine. Luca was our tour guide and he is extremely friendly, engaging and also shared recommendations for food in the main city. Highly recommend Luca, as well as the Parmigiano Reggiano & Balsamic vinegar tour as it really educated us on the process and the tasting was amazing.
