This was an amazing tour and worth everything when paid for it. Stephania was an amazing guide and our driver was extremely kind. We had an amazing time learning about different local farms and sampling all kinds of food in the region. I would strongly recommend booking this tour.

An amazing and delicious day learning about the food culture of Tuscany! Stephania was a great guide, and all the tour stops were fantastic. Balsamic vinegar with gelato was a particular revelation!

Visited cheese, vinegar, and wine making facilities via bus and then headed out for a very filling lunch with the small group. Each facility had a speaker that educated us on their product. The guide was very nice and well-informed, but could have had a more planning/curriculum to teach us about the products, culture, and customs of the regional cuisine. Would have liked to hear about general expectations and overall plan for the day (i.e tell us what we are about to do, how long each experience will take, what we will taste there, to kick it off… etc). Would have liked more context, customs, trivia, and history of the cuisine and foods as well. Good, but not sure it was worth the significant cost. Could’ve also added more activities (ie. everyone practice making a tortellini perhaps? Mortadella factory? gelato maker? Try some other unique local product?). Good, but just seems like it needed something more at this price point.

This tour is a must if you’re visiting Bologna. Stefania is absolutely incredible and so knowledgeable as someone who has lived in the region for many years. Every stop was fantastic and we were never rushed. Stefania is very patient and kind and answers every single question. We had a great group and she makes sure that everyone is having a good experience. The winery, parmigiano factory tour, and the lunch with authentic regional dishes were the highlight of our trip. I’d give Stefania and this tour 100 stars if I could!

We had an excellent day on this tour - there were 3 couples, our driver (I can’t remember his name but he was very kind) and our tour guide, Stefania. She was excellent - knowledgeable, engaging, friendly; she answered all of our questions, gave us tips for future spots to visit, and we all enjoyed each other’s company for the duration of the day. The tastings were delicious and the people patient, welcoming, and passionate about the authenticity and quality of their products. At the lunch afterward too Stefania ordered many local specialties for us to try and have us the background and stories of each one. It was an unforgettable day, thank you!!

Roberta was amazing! The tours were very informative and interesting. A perfect length where they didn’t drag on and on, but also were not rushed. Tons of samples and wine. A multi course meal to end the day. Leaving the tour full.

We had an amazing time on the food tour! The whole experience was really well-organised and the food was nice (a lot of ham and cheese at every stop). Lunch was pre-selected, which made things super easy, and they were great at adjusting the dishes to suit our dietary requirements. It does start quite early and could probably be a bit shorter, but overall it was such a fun day out. Our family laughed a lot and really enjoyed the experience!

A lot of fun! Cheese factory was a little smelly but the vinegar and wine tasting was amazing. Our guide was great and made it all run so smoothly.
