• The port tried it

  Overall, we had a really good time however at the port, a gentleman who works for the beach, Club collected the port fee and then try to also collect extra money from us claiming it was insurance, which is not stated anywhere on the website or on via tour, we did not appreciate the fact that he was trying to get extra money out of us and we stated that it was not on the website so he after about five minutes he let it go so just be mindful that they might try to get extra money out of you at the port also on the island you can get a lobster lunch, which is very good however it is very expensive about 80 US for a very small lobster so make sure that you barter the price so that you are not paying that other than that the food was good. The workers are very helpful. It’s a beautiful environment to me. regular was fine you don’t need VIP. The only difference with VIP is it’s on the different side and they have different food options which really didn’t make a difference.

  We had a great time at the beach resort. The speed boat ride was fun. The resort is small but nice. There was plenty of space for everyone who was there. The food and drinks for purchase were delicious. The included lunch was delicious as well. The only thing that I wish was different was if they provided the towels and had an area to wash off after using the beach. Other than that, I highly recommend this experience and I would do it again. ☺️

  Disorganized from the start. They tell you to arrive at 7:30 AM just to sit around doing nothing until nearly 9:00 before leaving. Complete waste of time. The included lunch is forgettable—borderline bad. If you’re a solo traveler, skip this entirely. The standard area is dead with no energy. The VIP section clearly gets all the attention, so unless you’re paying extra, don’t expect much of an experience. The heat is brutal, and there’s zero guidance or preparation for it. Bring a change of clothes unless you want to be sweaty and uncomfortable all day. You only get about five hours at the beach club, and that’s before factoring in the long, drawn-out travel process. Also, if you sit in the back of the boat, expect to get splashed in the face the entire ride. If you go, get a seat toward the front or aisle unless you want to arrive soaked. Overall, this felt like a tourist trap—overpriced, underwhelming, and poorly run. Would not recommend.

  I really expected to love this trip, but it fell short. The food was cold and not very good, very disappointing. There were reserved chairs everywhere, yet many of them sat empty, directing us away from areas where it would be great to sit. . The biggest letdown was the “beach” — it was very misleading. There’s no actual beach to do a beach walk on, just direct access into the water. Service was lacking as well. We often had to track down servers ourselves instead of being attended to. As for activities, there really weren’t any unless you brought your own or paid extra. We also upgraded to VIP, expecting a better experience, but it honestly wasn’t worth the extra money. On top of that, the tour agent failed to mention an additional departure tax that had to be paid IN CASH without a credit option at the dock, which was frustrating and unexpected. Overall, not the experience we were hoping for.

  Just my best day in Cartagena. The place is simply paradisiac! The attendance is 10 and the activities give a plus to the experience. There is a wonderful dance class, where you have to play! Very tasty drinks, it is worth paying for the first row bangalow, in real, super in account. Wonderful lunch, finally... All perfect!!! The guys who were responsible for my care were also excellent! I'd come back a thousand times!
