Very relaxing time on the water and on the beach watching the sunset and stars. Highly recommend the tour.

We had an incredible experience. Our guide picked us up from the hotel and we had a leisurely boat ride during the sunset. We went to a private motu where we had drinks, some fresh coconut and some time alone. Once it started getting dark, he walked us through the history of their ancestors, their voyaging journey, and how they settled amongst the islands. As the stars started to appear, we looked for key constellations and saw Orion, Taurus, Gemini, Jupiter, and others. It was a great evening.

Beautiful sunset with drinks and snacks, informative and interesting demonstration on the history of Polynesians sailing by the stars and weather. Learned some new constellation names! Everyone on the motu was so friendly and helpful, sharing local almonds right off the tree! Can never control the weather bring a bit overcast but that barely mattered in all the beauty we got to see. Highly recommend this trip!

Wonderful! It ended up just being the two of us. Sunset then stars. Highly recommend. Great start to our trip.

It was cloudy- can’t be helped- and we skipped the “sunset cruise” and pretty much went straight to the island before the sunset. Nono & Ariee were both friendly & personable & played ukulele for us, as we watched the “sunset” on the island. They offered us champagne, beer, soda or water and some tiny finger food. Then Nono told a long story about the history of the Polynesians. It was a little hard to catch all of it, as he turned back & forth from one side of the group to the other, so I only heard what he said when he was facing us. Then when it finally got dark, I thought he would show us stars & constellations with his laser pointer. Instead, he pointed the laser pointer at various places on the ground, to explain where the constellations were on the other side of the planet? When we asked about the actual constellations we could see above the cloud cover, he told us to download an app! Of course, there was no wi-Fi, so we took turns looking at the one person on our tour who already had the app’s phone.

We did several tours in Bora Bora. This one was by far our favorite. The positioning of the sunset cruise was perfect for an unobstructed view of the sunset. The boat was small and intimate with just one other family the evening we joined. The captain, Manu, was informative and engaging. After the cruise, we went to the motu where Manu told us about the history of navigation and exploration among the Polynesian cultures. We observed the stars for about 45 minutes before returning to our hotel. On the way back, Manu serenaded us while playing his ukulele. A perfect evening.

We booked this tour with the group option and in the end we turned out to be the only people who had booked for that day, so we ended up having a private tour for the two of us. It's a tour they've recently relaunched, and we loved it! The departure is at the perfect time to enjoy the sunset from the boat. Both the captain and the guide were super friendly and attentive. We were offered a few glasses of champagne to toast along the way, they took pictures with the sunset, and finally we arrived at a private motu next to the Four Seasons. There they had chairs prepared overlooking Mount Otemanu and the sunset, fresh drinks and some food to snack on. As dusk ended and the stars rose, they explained the origins of Polynesia, where they came from, the initial migrations and the first explorations. Then once it was dark, they explained to us how the Polynesians did to navigate and understand how to orient themselves, and we saw the stars and constellations in the sky with the help of an application that they lent us. It was a very nice night that we enjoyed very much.

Outstanding guides and tour! We had Manu and Nono, they took us to watch the sunset and then to a private island to stargaze. We saw the Milky Way and many zodiac symbols, and Manu also taught us the history of French Polynesia. They also provided light snacks and drinks to us, overall a great experience!
