What To Expect

Mostar

From Kravice, we drive to Mostar to visit the old town and famous old bridge, the most important monument of oriental architecture in this town. In Mostar we visit oriental side of the city with famous old bridge originally built in 1566 as the most important Ottoman monument in their 400 years long rule in Bosnia and Herzegovina. First when we come there, you will have a short walking tour with a local guide and after the tour free time to visit the place on your own and to enjoy local meals. From Mostar we travel back to Dubrovnik, and our day trip ends with complimentary drop off at your pick up location. Return to Dubrovnik following a short break and another opportunity to enjoy Turkish coffee (own expense).

Mostar was fantastic and not to be missed. The tour company was great and they definitely accommodated both places in a tight schedule so definitely recommend this.

Adjust your expectations, it was more transportation than an actual tour or a least based on previous day trips I’ve experienced. Mostar was very nice, would have preferred more time there, the waterfalls were incredibly crowded.

We’ve been on a bunch of tours during our European vacation and this one was the best yet. Guide (Ollie) and driver were super friendly. Just the right amount of history and information given about Bosnia and Mostar. Great amount of time given in Mostar to have a short tour, explore, take pictures and have lunch (3 hours). Waterfalls were nice but Mostar was the star of the trip. Such a picturesque little town. Just be sure to bring cash for the town tax (€3 pp + €10 waterfall entrance pp). Missed that but luckily had cash.

Overall an excellent value for money and good trip. Really enjoyed the tour of Mostar- beautiful city. They were good about taking breaks during the long drive too. On the down side, they don’t actually offer hotel pick up for most guests. I received an email 30sec after booking that said because of the roads they couldn’t actually offer hotel pickup and that I had to make my way to Pile gate by 6:20am (a 50min walk from my hotel). However we spent the first hour of the tour picking other guests up at seemingly random locations around Dubrovnik. One of them was only 5min from my hotel. Would have loved to have been picked up there but they didn’t offer it to me…

A very well organised and run interesting trip. The lovely young tour guide was amazing providing all the requirements and gave us a great historical background to the region. She also was extremely funny and had everybody in great humour.

Carmella was terrific. She was so jolly, excitable, and full of interesting knowledge. She was a 6 out of 5. Driver good. Bosnia & Herzegovina was alright. Mostar is really only the bridge and the recent history. Kravice Falls are ok.

The guide Carmella, the bus driver and the bus were all quite nice. Carmella did a wonderful job of navigating us through the border quickly and explaining sites along the way. Mostar was especially beautiful and the local guide was quite entertaining. The Kravice falls were amazing. All in all a very nice day trip.

The guide, Carmella, was lovely . Really interesting and gave us lots of great information throughout the day . We had a great guide , Sandra , in Mostar who had a great sense of humour and gave a really interesting tour . Kravica waterfalls was beautiful. We could have done with a bit more time in both places but had a lovely day .
