Drive will begin along coastal Adriatic road and you will enjoy view on Elaphiti and Pelješac peninsula before we cross Bosnian border. Visit south Bosnia and Herzegovina and enjoy this undiscovered area, rich with cultural diversities and nature’s wonders in a private day trip. First we will make a stop at Kravice waterfalls, a large cascade in the karstic heartland of Herzegovina. Afterwards visit to Pocitelj, a medieval village built along the Neretva river. Mostar is nowadays split between West and East Side, Christians and Muslims, with the Old Bridge built in 16th Century by the Ottomans being the unofficial border between them. Our last stop is Blagaj where we'll enjoy magnificent karstic phenomena settled beneath few hundred meters high rock under which river Buna comes out.

Ivana was a great driver, gave us a basic orientation of Mostar by walking us through town (we're not full-history-tour kind of people). She was on-time for pick-up, used WhatsApp to communicate with us before and during the tour, and had recommendations in each spot for how to self-tour.

We extended our bus tour trip a couple of days & spent one day on this day trip with Ivo & thoroughly enjoyed our time with him. There were 4 of us and he was very patient and very knowledgeable about the tour & answered all of our many questions. The scenery was amazing. He knew all the perfect stops for photos and great places to eat. The itinerary was full of beautiful scenery. I highly recommend this tour, well worth the time & money.

The waterfalls were absolutely amazing, especially the small waterfalls that our awesome guide Ivo took us to! The ruins and views from the watch tower at Pocitelj were awesome as well, made even more enjoyable by the incredible historical knowledge of Ivo: He gave us more than just a guided tour - he made the history come alive for us. This tour was the highlight of our trip and we are looking forward to booking more guided tours with Ivo.

My husband and I took the private tour to Bosnia and Herzegovina and we visited: the Unesco heritage thumbstones, the Pocitelj Fortress, Kravice waterfalls, Mostar and Blagaj. Our driver and wonderful guide was Nenad. He is gentleman, professional and very on time. He has knowledge about history which made the trip more interesting. Nenad also recommended us a delicious restaurant in Mostar and we had the mix meat… spectacular food! We are very happy and grateful with the excellent job and good communication provided by Horizont Tours. Thank you! I highly recommend Nenad. It’s important do have a guide with knowledge! This was one of the best tours I have been on. Our tour guides Zoran and Haki were friendly, knowledgeable and punctual. We had an excellent time seeing the Kravice Waterfalls and Mostar, not to mention the incredible lunch we had at a local winery. 100% recommend this tour and the company.

Excellent tour, recommended! Getting to Mostar from Dubrovnik means quite a lot of time on the road, which is why we splurged on the private tour for our last day in Dubrovnik rather than spending much of the day being stuck on a coach bus, and we're glad we did. Dražen was an excellent driver and tour guide; very friendly, perfect English, knowledgeable, flexible with the times, and just all around a great guide. Mostar and Kravice are major tourist destinations in Bosnia, so expect there to be crowds at both, but they are still stunning. Blagaj doesn't seem to be part of the itineraries of most other tours from Dubrovnik, and it's a great bonus stop. It's close to Mostar, so it doesn't add much driving time, but it's super worth the stop. Culturally, we found the Muslim/Bosniak aspect of Mostar and particularly Blagaj to be particularly interesting, as this was different from what we experienced in Croatia. Before we booked, we weren't quite sure whether we should do this tour or the Bay of Kotor (Montenegro) tour, but hearing about how many hours folks can get stuck at the Montenegro border, we are glad we did this tour. The border crossings took about 30 minutes getting into Bosnia and 10 minutes back into Croatia.

Our day in Bosnia was simply amazing! Perfect all the way around! Ivo is the best guide in Croatia and he gave us so much historical information in every town we went! He was relaxed, easy going and very practical! He even took us to Medjugorge and I was able to go up the Aparition Hill! That was the perfect end to our day tour. The lunch we had in Mostar at the recommended restaurant was delicious! Amazing food, service and environment. I would recommend anyone in Dubrovnik to take this tour with Ivo and enjoy Beautiful Bosnia!
