We could not find or board the bus at all. We saw the bus once for about 3 minutes when it stopped near the Boston Commons. This is a scam. We lost our money $108.00 (for two). DO NOT BUY TICKETS FOR THIS BUS. WORST VIATOR EXPERIENCE EVER !!! Better buy Trolley Bus tickets from the Haymarket or the Long Wharf near the Mariott.

It was great, seven of us put the QR code on their phone and away we went separate ways for the day. It went very smoothly. I’ve used Viator in many cities and love their services.

It was good to be able to see the city of Boston and learn information about its history. It was a little challenging navigating where to find the map and meeting places on the Viator app. Our tour guide gave a lot of information about the city. We did wish there were more places on the tour.

Hambone was a super-entertaining and knowledgeable driver/guide. The 1.5-hour loop around Boston was just what we needed to acclimate to the city on our first visit.

I work for Cruise Planners and bought 7 tickets for myself and my six clients. I called to verify before going on the trip where the bus pick up was going to be which I was told outside the terminal a few steps. I had two elderly clients who have issues walking and we ended up have to walk over a half mile to get our bus and I had to pay a cab driver $20 bucks to get the two people who couldn't walk over to the buses. Then we arrived at the bus and I was told my pick up location was not valid for the cruise terminal only in the city for which I called to verify we would be able to get on the bus at the cruise terminal. I was then charged an additional $75.00 for all 7 of us to get on the bus. Once on the bus two of my people needed to sit downstairs and the bus did not have air conditioning. It was extremely hot and my clients decided to get off the bus and not go on the tour. I was then stuck with the additional $75 plus all the $51.99 we all paid each to ride the bus. I was refunded by Viator for all of my clients including myself and I appreciate that. I am still out the $75.00 dollars for which the gentle that took my money said he would refund which has yet to happen. On top of that when I left the bus that afternoon the bus and the person who charge me the extra fee for everyone was driving the bus that just happened to drop me off directly at the cruise port (where I was told we could get the BUS). Totally unacceptable and I will not recommend this trip to anyone. I would like my additional funds returned and can be reached at [email protected] or by calling me at 772-288-3929.

For the price its not worth it. 8 stops only and maybe 1 or 2 are actually worth to hop off. No other languages available and the service wasn't the best either. The last bus also leaves at 4pm, quiet early... Will definitely better be one of the bus/cruise tours or another company with 13 stops min.

It only has 8 stops and the website did not offer us a way to buy a ticket that included both red and blue bus routes. After riding the bus through one loop, we were told told to get off and wait for the next bus, because the one we were on was rerouted over to a cruise ship. It was an old and tired looking bus.

Loved the open air seating on the upper deck. Unfortunately we waited over an hour for the bus outside of cheers around 12pm on a Friday. We were told the bus would be around every ~30 minutes. That was VERY disappointing. When you pay so much for a vacation like this, an hour standing on the sidewalk twirling you thumbs every time you hop off the bus can significantly limit your bang for your buck. The old town buses stopped at this stop 8 times in that one hour window. Pay a little more and improve your experience ten-fold.

First off told it would leave in less than 10 mins …. It left25 mins later You are basically paying $40 odd dollars for a bus without a guide and canned commentary with a computer generated voice to put over the absolute basics about the place. Just awful value for money - how can you charge for a city tour without a live guide - as I said cynically designed to extract money from tourists while providing the bare minimum in return - shameful !
