Start with Buffalo Trace first since it is so large and comprehensive - then go to smaller distilleries

Tour operator helped me select the right experience for us. We ended up visiting Bulleit, Woodford and Buffalo Trace - great combination. Vladimir was an excellent host and we enjoyed his descriptions and history of the area.

Great day spent with Vladimir! Having transportation lined up is such a peace of mind. He knew where to go, where to park and how to make the most efficient use of time to get us to as many stops as possible. You may have to be flexible with the stops, but they are all amazing!

Not much of a review writer. My wife and I did a bourbon tour for our anniversary. The guys that got everything put together were great. I would highly recommend for those wanting to hit multiple distilleries in one day and not deal with driving. Bullet was the only one that I saw that had actual food other than castle and key with a taco truck!!!

We were really excited to go on this tour, as we’re bourbon drinkers and have been on many tours in the past. However, we soon realized that our driver, Shannon, knows little to nothing about the bourbon industry - considering that we were going to spend the entire day with her, this was disappointing, to say the least. Our first stop, after an hour+ of driving, was Four Roses for tasting only. It was OK, at best - they really rushed us through the process and sent us out to the gift shop to buy bottles of bourbon. Our second stop, Buffalo Trace, was, as always, awesome! Our tour guide, Scott, was knowledgeable, funny, and interesting. We had enough time before our tour to get to the gift shop to pick up allocated bottles (Blanton’s and EHT), and Shannon was kind enough to take our purchases back to the van for us. During our visit to BT, Shannon picked up a couple of small pizzas for the group, as this tour company doesn’t think to carve out time for lunch. Because we ate pizza following our tour/tasting, we got behind schedule. This is where things got dicey. Shannon, deciding that getting to James Beam on-time was more important than the personal safety of the people on the tour, proceeded to drive 10-15 MPH over the speed limit (80-85 MPH) on an extremely windy day where she, admittedly had difficulty controlling the vehicle (we were all over the road). At least one person asked her to slow down to no avail. Thankfully, we made it to James Beam! The tour at JB was outstanding and the tastings superb - it was an unexpected highlight of the trip and highly recommended if you travel to bourbon country. I hesitated writing this review, as I don’t like to make negative comments about people. However, after thinking about it for a few days, it occurred to me that I would have appreciated seeing this review prior to making a decision to book. I wouldn’t have. If you are considering booking, keep in mind that this company doesn’t guarantee that you will visit the distilleries of your choice, doesn’t schedule time for lunch, and obviously doesn’t screen its drivers (I’d be surprised if Shannon holds a CDL). You’ll be packed like sardines into a rented van and may not be able to sit with your traveling companion(s) - most groups on our tour were broken up. We’ve taken tours with Mint Julep Tours that were FAR superior to this one, with extremely knowledgeable guides and competent drivers. I recommend looking them up and comparing what you’ll get for your $. I hope this helps others make an educated choice when looking at opportunities to visit the amazing bourbon trail.

This price is a rip off. We did Buffalo trace, Woodford reserve and Evan Williams. Buffalo is free, Woodford is 35 and Williams is 20. I paid $217. Yes they drove you to all these places but you are getting literally 2oz of bourbon in each place. I will never book a tour again. I'll do what I did the next day and go on my own and visit 3 Distilleries.

We had a great time! Our tours were on a Sunday where distilleries have tighter windows but it was still a seamless experience. Our driver Vladimir was awesome!!

An exorbitant amount of miscommunication made for a lot of “wrongs” on this trip. The lack of customer service and not even WANTING to try to sort things out and even get close to working something out for good, made for a stressful day. It was heightened due to the constant rude and badgering texts

Ron our driver for the day was outstanding. He had a great deal of history and information that he shared and was a delight to be with.
