The best way how to explore the country is to meet locals. But even better way for exploring is to use your taste buds. We will take you to the traditional village near Bratislava where during every autumn all cellars are opened and they serve their traditional Slovak food. Your taste buds will be pleased by tasting roasted duck or goose, loksha (potato pancake with fat), steamed cabbage. And of course we will finish with something sweet – strudel with poppy seed or loksha with walnuts.
One of the best family restaurants in this magical village. They will serve you traditional roasted goose and loksha according to their family recipe. Friendly staff and unique atmosphere of the restaurant will make this experience unforgettable.

We enjoyed the traditional Slovakian meal. The food was delicious and we greatly enjoyed it. Our host Betty was extremely wonderful and well informed in Slovakian history. Ďakujeme za všetko! Všetko bolo skvelé a jedlo bolo chutné!

This tour may be the highlight of our visit to Slovakia. Our guide, Betty, was very personable and informative of Slovak history, providing much detail of the local customs. The outstanding dinner was one that we looked forward to because it included loksha, which is something that Wayne remembered eating in his younger years with his grandparents who came from this area. We enjoyed the elaborate decor and furnishings of the restaurant which made our dinner experience most delightful.
