Get picked up at your accommodation or harbour, then depart toward Nova Sintra.
Nova Sintra
Make your first stop at Eugénio Tavares main square, and learn about the history of Morna, a Cape Verdean musical genre internationalized by Cesária Évora and considered Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Take pictures of empty colonial houses waiting for the return of the “Americanos” who have built them for their retirement.

5.00Thank you Ali for a wonderful trip. He adjusted the route for us according to our wishes. His explanation and guiding experience are excellent. He took us all over the island, in each village he gave us an explanation about the life, history of the island and the lifestyle of the local people. He gave us a lot of information about the local fauna and flora. Ali speaks perfect English, but don't worry if your English is not good. Ali will always explain everything to you so that you understand. Ali is not only a great guide, but we felt like a friend and a great person during our day together. We had a lot of laughs with him. Thanks to him, our trip was flawless! We also thank Carlos, who has perfect driving skills and drove the whole day on the local narrow and sometimes broken roads. If you are wondering if this trip is right for you, then you don't have to think anymore. It is a clear choice! Thanks to these two, Brava became unforgettable. It was an amazing experience! And enjoy it as much as we did. Thank you Michal and Zuzana from the Czech Republic

5.00Brava is probably the most beautiful island in Cape Verde but also the least known, even Cape Verdeans themselves. Rugged, wild, very flowery, with lots of vegetation, natural pools, wonderful bays and breathtaking views from anywhere on the island. A mild climate in absolute contrast to the neighboring island of Fogo, which invites contemplation and rest and which imbues its inhabitants with an affable and welcoming character. Land of beauty and poetry buffeted by isolation. Wonderful Djabraba! We were treated to a Tocatina with Mornas by Eugénio Tavares at the Cruz Grande Hotel. Highly recommended.
