Hoover Dam
Our first stop will be the Hoover Dam. We will drive across the top of the Dam to the Arizona viewpoint which offers an amazing perspective of the Dam itself from high above. It is a "Dam" unique photo opportunity. The spillways are amazing to see as well as the unfortunate "Bath Tub Ring" that illustrates the quickly vanishing Lake Mead. Then we are off to our first Craft Beer location. CHEERS!
Boulder City
We stop at a Craft Beer Brewery in Boulder City Nevada and enjoy a Flight of beers as well as some history of the area. Boulder City Established in 1931 to house the builders of Hoover Dam. This picturesque, tree studded Clark County, Nevada town, sits inside Southern Nevada's border with neighboring Arizona, perched above Lake Mead the largest man-made lake in the U.S.

This was a great tour and well worth the money! A private driver picked us up at our hotel and toured my wife and I to the Hoover Dam and three breweries, one in Boulder, one in Henderson and one in Vegas on brewery row. Finishing up with a comedy show and a ride back to our hotel. We had a great day sightseeing, tasting incredible beer and laughing at with the comedians. This tour was worth every penny and I would recommend it to anyone! Cheers to Jeff our informative accommodating driver from the Wisconsin Cheese Heads

We had a great experience. Jeff was great and very knowledgeable about the area. The dam was awesome to see. He made suggestions for beers at the breweries. Loved each location and the best part was not having to drive. The comedy show was fantastic. We had excellent seats. Overall this was a perfect way to spend a day outside of the strip.

Overall, our experience was just OK. Jeff our guide, was awesome. Very polite, courteous and knowledgeable. We enjoyed his company. The Hoover Dam was great, and the other breweries were very cool however, the STRAT show was awful. We actually were told to be quiet when we cheered the opening Comedian. The second comedian was just a nasty pig. We actually left right after he came on. So, that is not the tour groups fault, but it is what we paid for.

This tour could be awesome, but for us it was just ok. I am not going to review the beers or the breweries, just the “tour” We were picked up about 1/2 an hour early at our hotel, then went to get another couple from theirs, We stopped at a brewery in Boulder City on the way to the Hoover Dam, but there was no place for us to sit and they did not seem to be expecting us so we left and headed to the dam. We were asked a couple times if we really wanted to go to the dam, since we had never been there and one of the reasons we picked this tour was because it went to the dam and to breweries outside of Las Vegas we said we did want to go there. It took a few minutes to get thru the dam security gate, there was something expired but the driver and the dam attendant worked it out and we were allowed to enter. The driver asked us if we wanted to to “go up the steps”…since we had never been there and we had no idea what to expect we said yes. We walked up a bunch of steps & about halfway across a bridge for a good look at the dam from the Pat Tillman Bridge. When we got back to the van I think the driver was sleeping. We got back in the van and drove around the dam a bit, the driver asked if we wanted to get out and do anything else, but again…since we had never been there we had no idea where to go or what to do so we said no, let’s head to some breweries instead. I’m pretty sure the driver wanted to head straight back to Vegas, but we wanted to hit breweries in Boulder City and Henderson. We could get to the ones in Vegas without a tour. We went back to Boulder City Brewing, there was an available table inside so we sat there. It kind of got weird here thou, the driver said we could order a flight or a beer and said he’d be back in about 45 minutes. The server asked us about food, so we had to ask the driver if food was included at this stop. He said we could order 2 apps to share, there were 3 ppl in my group and one other couple. They didn’t want to eat yet, but we did so we ordered and shared. The driver came back about 45 minutes later and said he would pay the bill, but the tips at all the locations would be up to us. After that, the driver again mentioned heading straight back to Vegas, but we wanted to go the places advertised as part of the tour. We convinced him to take us to a brewery in Henderson. Again, we were left alone to order and it seemed like the brewery was not expecting us. When we left that stop and headed back to Vegas, we figured out the reason for wanting to skip the dam and the other breweries…traffic. It took so long to get back that the driver didn’t think we’d make the comedy show. But we had time to squeeze one Vegas brewery in, we slammed our beers and hustled to the Strat for the comedy show. Which was freaking hilarious, we all had a fun time there. Some things to note: there was no food offered anywhere after that first stop, so eat there. The driver did mention he was helping the owner out because 2 of the drivers had quit. We thought it was odd to be left on our own at the breweries. We’ve been on other tours where the driver is quite tour guide-y with local historical info about the area and the breweries, but this tour was not like that. Also, the van smelled like smoke, for a bunch of non-smokers that was unpleasant. This tour could be great, but it was a meh for us. If we ever go back to Vegas, we will have to figure out another way to visit all the breweries.

Was amazing. Lucky to just be us that day. Would never of found these breweries on our own to just go to. The places were great and comedians were funny. Loved the tour of Hoover dam. Our guide Jeff was wonderful and informative. Very easy to communicate with!

Very good tour for one day you would like to get away from Las Vegas Strip for several hours. For beer connoisseurs is even a better tour because it will offer the opportunity to visit three breweries, each with its own original list of beer options. The tour is done on a relaxed pace allowing plenty of time for sampling your favorite beer choices. Jeff, who was our driver, is a really cool guy.

Had a great time visiting some local craft breweries. I really enjoy IPA style beers and each stop had a large variety. Ron was an excellent driver and was on time for pick up. He explained about the areas that we stopped at. I will recommend this to my friends if they are in town.

Overall great. The driver Ron was fantastic and flexible with us when needed. The first stop was great and you were given plenty of time to chill. Maybe order additional drinks if you wanted, same with the second stop. Comedy club at the end was a good way to keep the buzz going and go with some giggles and more drinks!
