I really enjoyed it. Lovely weather and the guides were great. Could have been a bit longer. I really appreciated the pearl earrings we were given.

My 2 grandchildren 10 & 8 years old went on the camel ride together, they both have pierced ears and both love wearing jewellery. Our grandson became quite upset when his sister was given pearl earings as part of the tour and he wasn't. The lady owner was very rude when I asked why he couldn't have a pair, apparently only for females!!! I would have thought in today's world where we can't discriminate on age or sex that he was eligible! Thank goodness a lady who's daughter received earings but didn't have pierced ears gave him hers. The staff were very embarrassed by the owners behaviour and there were a lot of awkward moments trying to get the kids settled on their camel. Hope this company can move with the times. I wouldn't recommend the Blue Camel rides

Took the family on the camels for 60th birthday celebrations. Everyone loved it. Staff were so helpful with little children and took so many photos for us. Highly recommend

My friends and I decided on trying the half hour camel ride along Cable Beach. It was a lovely experience and so unique! Luckily there were steps to climb up to a platform from where we mounted the camels in their standing position. We then enjoyed a slow, gentle ride along the beach and return. Staff were great in assisting, including taking photos for us! Overall, a great experience and we concluded that 1/2 hour was long enough!

A fantastic and special experience. The handlers genuinely care about the well-being of the camels and it was all very well-run. Did the 3:30pm one and 30min was just right for us and it was still a gorgeous and well-lit experience and the staff took some amazing photos of us too! Took a couple of young kids with us - probably not the easiest for those who do not have wide hips (have to stretch legs over a wide hump)...the kids didn't complain though! Bear in mind, there is a long walk along the beach to the starting point so either give yourself plenty of time or let the organisers know if you need help getting there.

The walk from the surf club car park down to the beach and then >600 hundred metres to the start point was not what I expected when I booked it thinking it would be a good alternative to a walk along the beach, as my husband has severe emphysema & cannot walk long distances, very disappointing that no help was offered despite there being a vehicle available 🫤😐

A great way to end our stay in Broome. The 30 minute ride was just right for me. Although the sunset ride would have been special, I think 1 hour would have been too much for this old fellow. The camels were just so chill and the staff an absolute delight - especially Stephen and his partner (whose name I sadly can’t renember ☹️).

We had, in earlier travels to Morocco some 18 years ago , ridden camels on the beach at Essouira. It was a wonderful memory and we were keen to do it again at Broome. Broome Camel Safaris do a great job; everything is well-organised and the camels are docile. It’s the little touches - like the way they flip over the saddle covers while the camels are waiting in the sun, to be mounted - so that the covers don’t get too hot for us to sit on! Definitely a must-do at Broome!

Our granddaughters enjoyed the ride. Was a bit too much waiting around and loading riders before the ride. Would prefer a chat about the camels, the farm the camels to keep you engaged beforehand. Was a nice gesture to give out a pair of sea pearl earrings. Shame the beach renovations are taking so long as harder to get to the ride site. Walk down to surf club turn right walk up beach about 1kn just past rocks to reach camel site.

Camel ride was relaxing and pleasant. Very disappointing to witness female staff member urinating/defecating in scrub at edge of beach and further upsetting to witness staff member holding lead camel give her the big thumbs up!! Not exactly what we wanted our 10 years old to see!! Needless to say we refrained from allowing her to take photos with our camera, particularly as she never washed her hands. Poor form
