Experience the best travel stories for yourself!
You may not immediately compare Brooklyn to a small town, but the hippest borough is made up of distinct community-oriented neighborhoods that thrive and blossom because of the local mom-and-pop businesses, many of which have been here for generations. Throughout this neighborhood food tour, we celebrate the businesses by telling the stories of the people involved, by sampling some of the delicious food being sold.

As we stroll through this picturesque neighborhood we learn how it got its name, about its history as an Italian and Irish heritage neighborhood, and how the waterfront helped transform it. Well done! Enjoyed our time with David yesterday! He was very knowledgeable! All the spots felt like procured gems! The food was delicious and the shop owners were lovely. Would highly recommend.

This was an underwhelming experience. Our tour guide was 40 minutes late - we had to make a lot of efforts to call ourselves to understand what was going on. Most of the food stops were just fine and the portions were really tiny - I was still hungry after the tour. While our tour guide was a nice person, the tour itself was quite boring. I’ve done many food tours in many cities/countries and this was by far one of the most underwhelming experiences. I definitely don’t recommend it.

Great overview of Brooklyn to include food, history, and some inside “secrets” Sara did a fantastic job of keeping everyone engaged.

This food tour was informative and very well planned. Alex, our guide, had personal knowledge of the area and made the tour pleasant and provided tasty samples.

I was surprised to find that I was the only one who had signed up for this tour, but then, it was a Monday morning. A.J. (I think), my tour guide was wonderful and it almost felt like two friends going out for a stroll around Brooklyn.
