Beautiful town. However, not enough time to enjoy. I wish I would have left the guided tour sooner and enjoyed the scenery, shops, museums and restaurants instead. I think the tour guide could have spoken much less. Instead she took up most of our time, given us barely any time to eat and enjoy the town. I think she should have just provided relevent information and allowed us to explore.

Enjoyed trip. What is preferred to not have the two hour walking tour and then only three hours to walk around on our own would’ve preferred to have the whole time was walking around on our own maybe have a tour guide taken to the center of the city and then just let everybody go do their own thing

Very very bad experience. The tour guide English is very poor, all people in our group are unable to understand what he said. At the end of the site walking tour, he ask us to go back to the bus by ourself, we refuse to do so as the site is big with lots of small streets, we told him we are not capable and ask him to meet us where he drop us off meeting point. When we go back to Amsterdam 3 hours drive, he did not allow a washroom time, until we demand him to do so.

We did this bus tour from Bruges to Amsterdam. There was a guide on the bus. The only thing this guide did was to tell the people on the bus to be back at the bus at a particular time when we had a morning break. When we arrived in Bruges he told us he was turning the English speaking people over to another guide there. The other guide took us all over fairly quickly. He would only give the group 1 or 2 minutes at photo stops. My husband and I had a hard time keeping up and at times would lose sight of the guide. He never gave us any kind of map of Bruges. After about 1.5 hours, he stopped at a chocolate shop and said that was the end of the tour and to be back at the bus stop at a certain time. He didn't give us any instructions on how to get back. We went back to the square which was just a few blocks behind us. It started raining and we had lunch. My daughter had picked up a map outside a shop that we had gone past and we figured out how to get back with the help of one of the servers. We kept meeting others in the group who had no idea how to get back as well and we would show them the map. Bruges appeared to be an interesting city to visit, but we didn't get too much out of this tour about it.
