1.00Visibility to find the night rendezvous point, the address indicated on the tickets is 10 minutes before that of the boat. So Arrival at 18h20 precise, and even if no boat left the dock we were refused access and oriented on that of 19h15. Not possible for us. We received a cruise offer with a markup for the next day. We changed company and everything was very well indicated the address of the meeting and the welcome to the boat. Disappointed with the service provider chosen by Viator, even if this is our first bad experience with the operator.

5.00The meeting place was easy to find, and the admission process was well-organized. We were welcomed with a glass of wine upon arrival. The earlier you arrive, the quicker and easier it is to find good seats, otherwise other participants may take the best spots. However, standing was actually even better. There’s the option to sit both inside and outside. A kind tip for participants: dress warmly, as it can get quite cold when the boat is moving.

5.00Cruise was really good, enjoyed it. Left promptly, organised. We arrived around 10/15minutes before departure and the queue to get on the cruise was already massive. Everyone seemed to dash upstairs and straight outside for the tables, the outer area was quite crowded and everyone stands infront of each other fighting for a good picture of parliament. We stayed outside for a little while then went downstairs inside for a table, much quieter and honestly the same views if not better as no one was standing in the way. Really lovely views along the whole river, everything was lit up beautifully. Would recommend doing, definitely in the evening when it’s darker.

1.00Unfortunately, our experience on this Danube cruise in Budapest was very disappointing. The company clearly oversold the tickets, which resulted in many passengers having to stand for the entire cruise. Because of this, we were unable to properly enjoy the view or take nice photos of the city. A river cruise should be a relaxing and comfortable experience, but standing the whole time completely ruined it. The welcome drink was also very poor. The wine was so bad that I would honestly have preferred to drink water from the Danube instead. It was far below expectations. To make matters worse, the high tables provided for standing guests were broken, which showed a lack of basic maintenance and care. Overall, the experience did not match what was advertised, and I would not recommend this cruise.
