The city floats in the floodlight when the time of the day allows that. (As Budapest uses the illumination to commemorate certain events(, like Earth Hour, Fight Against Breast Cancer, national events, etc.) therefore they might appear in different colours or can be dimmed at certain times.)

The bars up top very much get in the way of parliament. The price isn’t bad but it’s very hard to get good views

Unfortunately, our experience on this Danube cruise in Budapest was very disappointing. The company clearly oversold the tickets, which resulted in many passengers having to stand for the entire cruise. Because of this, we were unable to properly enjoy the view or take nice photos of the city. A river cruise should be a relaxing and comfortable experience, but standing the whole time completely ruined it. The welcome drink was also very poor. The wine was so bad that I would honestly have preferred to drink water from the Danube instead. It was far below expectations. To make matters worse, the high tables provided for standing guests were broken, which showed a lack of basic maintenance and care. Overall, the experience did not match what was advertised, and I would not recommend this cruise.

Very nice expirience! I was hasitating to do IT in Winter, but it was ok - I had Jacket, gloves and hat on. Ship was Going Not that fast. No big difference with normal winter weather. I recommend to do that, in the evening. Your Trip to Budapest will BE Not full without it. IT Wörth IT.

We booked this at 4pm to make sure it was dark and we could see the city lit up. The cruise did not disappoint! You get a fruity non-alcoholic drink on arrival. I would recommend sitting outside on the left side of the boat for the best view of Parliament Could be made better if there was some commentary about the city

I went on this river cruise with my girlfriend, on Wednesday 21st January. So it was during winter months, it was very cold (expectedly so), so bring a jacket and gloves. But I could not recommend this experience any higher, if you dont choose to go with this provider please still make an effort to go on a cruise with any booking company. It was absolutely amazing, we loved the views and it was a perfect way to start our long weekend getaway. If I was to only do one activity in Budapest it would be this. Overall 10/10👍🏼 (choose the cruises without food to properly take in the moment).

The boat didn't start sailing everything was closed. We had to ask the crew in the dark why they didn't inform anyone of their cancellation. stood there in the cold for nothing.
