Experience the city more like a local - the boat functions as a floating coffee house or pub experience with its own bar available during the cruise.
The city floats in the floodlight when the time of the day allows that. (As Budapest uses the illumination to commemorate certain events(, like Earth Hour, Fight Against Breast Cancer, national events, etc.) therefore they might appear in different colours or can be dimmed at certain times.)

1.00Bought through TripAdvisor link. The webpage said one operator, eticket said another. Not helped by breakdown on metro getting there - really good public transport, otherwise (Get BudapestGo App). No boat. Purplelines ticket operator took pity and gave me a discount 10 euro ticket. Everyone sat indoors as it's quite chilly on the river. Some other operators seemed outside only. Really useful commentary as it highlights decent places to go and see, especially on the Buda side.

3.00The views were fantastic. However it would be a lot more engaging if there was some information on what we are looking at. I have been on other river cruises where there is an informative recording that tells what you are seeing and give some history. I would have enjoyed this excursion a lot more if I knew what I was looking at.

5.00We went mid April and sunset was 7:45 an it was perfect for a beautiful view of everything lit up! The white wine was a nice touch, get there before 7 pm for a great seat up top though!!!!!!! Was a great evening and the bar staff work hard I will Say!

4.00It was tour taken to view Budapest city with its beautiful night lights and with the hope of a sunset as well -7:30 pm was our time enjoy the night lights of Budapest overcast unfortunately no sunset This is not meant to be a tour announcement tour and learn about the history or what u r seeing Or meet the exceptions of seeing Budapest from the water would pass on the prosecco
