  Very very disgusting and putrid. I got hot bath rash. The outside pools where the only ones that seemed somewhat clean. We paid 45 eu each for a very very bad experience. We went there to relax and I had an anxiety attack.

  A spa to make for its tourist aspect. On the other hand, if the welcome is rather friendly, I must say that from a hygiene point of view, it is very average. The swimming pool is controlled (beware of who goes without a swimming cap) and for the other baths, it is anarchy. Asians bathe in dresses, even T-shirts (it's gross), and no one cares. Then everyone does what they want, at the expense of hygiene. I regret this lack of oversight.

  A must experience in Budapest! The private beer spa is the only way to go and our family really enjoyed relaxing in a private setting and the secure lockers

  As a Hungarian tourist, I think this bath is far too expensive. In Switzerland I got towel, slippers and bathrobe in a very good thermal bath for about 30 euros. In the Széchenyi bath you have to pay extra for everything. The pools are overcrowded, so many people are inside that you can move alig. You can hardly enjoy the saunas either, because the doors are constantly opened and closed. But the saddest thing is that the building is in very poor condition. Outside and inside, a lot is broken, there is a lot of mold and the plaster falls from the walls. The locker rooms and interiors look very old and unkempt. For this price I think it is worth it to choose a different bath, because here you do not get what you would expect for the price.

  We spent an awesome day at the szechenyi Thermal baths. We started with 45 minutes at the Beer Spa. The staff at the SPA is OUTSTANDING. Starting with the info desk to the nice young man who provided the wrist bands, gave us a short info about the various baths in the complex and showed us our lockers. Once we changed and reached the Spa a very sweet young lady showed us to our Spa tub. She first explained what were the things she is going to.put in the tub and also demonstrated how the beer tap worked. Then she left us to enjoy the beer spa. 45 mins of relaxation along with lots of beer hahaha.. After the beer spa we just spend some time exploring the inner thermal baths which was nice but missed the thrill. So we decided to step out in the cold -5 C and jumped into the 36 C pool. It was the best memory of the trip. It was crowded but there was still space for me. We just didnt feel like leaving... A must do in Budapest A special shoutout to all the lovely Beer Spa employees

  The staff were friendly and helpful. It was also very clean. It was nice to have the private tub for a period of time since the communal baths were overly crowded (people soup!). And the beer pulls right at the tub was a bonus!

  Had low expectations for this place; what a surprise as this was one of the highlights of our trip! We started as a family of four in the BeerSpa: excellent privacy, warm hot tub in beer ingredients, and extremely attentive staff. Was slightly disappointed about having to “buy” towels, but that was our fault as the company was very upfront about not providing them. After 45 minutes in the beerspa, we moved to the larger outdoor pool. So much fun! Even with a larger crowd, we found space and didn’t feel crowded. After several hours, we moved to one of the saunas and got heated up. We spent a total of three magical hours here and it was amazing. Absolutely relaxing and enjoyable.

  I recently visited this spa hoping for a relaxing experience, but it turned into a nightmare. As someone with a disability, I was shockingly kicked out without any valid reason, and the staff and manager were extremely rude, ignorant, and completely impolite throughout the ordeal. They refused to issue a refund despite my polite requests, forcing me to file a complaint through my bank to resolve it. To top it off, the changing room was infested with cockroaches, which was utterly disgusting and put me off the entire place. Avoid this spa at all costs—it’s discriminatory, unsanitary, and poorly managed!

  The age of spa feels quaint and old fashioned when you first enter but when you look properly it’s dirty , overcrowded and when you leave you feel you need a scrub with Dettol. Its not relaxing or quite I could list lots of things to give a 1 star , however just don’t visit. We have loved everything else in Budapest

  Széchenyi Thermal Baths and Spa is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy Budapest’s famous thermal waters. The beautiful historic architecture, warm outdoor pools, and variety of baths and saunas create a unique and memorable experience.
