What To Expect
Vajdahunyad Castle
Visit the mysterious medieval Castle in the City park where two towers are accessible by stairs (54 and 97).
St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika)
The central Cathedral's cupola is another must. You will do it by lift to escape the 300 steps! :) I will show you the trick of the lifts for quickest and most comfy way up.

5.00We did the booking through Viator. The very next day we were surprised to receive a warm email from Edith who introduced herself as our tour guide. She understood our requirements well, was very prompt & concise in her email, text & phone communication with us. She even adjusted the places for us to visit to include some other viewpoints & modified a viewpoint which was shut due to renovation, so that we would not miss it. Her knowledge, her warmth, her openness & flexibility and the smiling personal touch that she gave to our tour made it an excellent one. We were on a week long tour of Budapest in a month long tour of Europe & without a doubt this tour by Edith was definitely the best among all the numerous guided tours we had booked. We highly recommend this to all those who would like to see Budapest through the eyes of a warm local.
