We had a brilliant personal tour with George on 19th December. George had excellent English as well as very detailed and interesting knowledge of Budapest. He took us to four great restaurants, multiple sights across the city and all the food was delicious! It's been a highlight of our time in Budapest and would recommend to all. Thanks again George 😊

A tremendous way to start your trip to Budapest. Familiarize yourself with the area and food...Zoltan was our guide and he was absolutely amazing. Had funny stories to keep the trip light and brought many stories to the group that helped understand the history of Hungary. Zoltan did not rush us at any of locations and was truly interested in the group and welcomed any questions. I would absolutely recommend this tour...

This best experience trying local delicacies and hearing about the great history of this country. Zoltan was fantastic, he brought humour, energy, knowledge and stories and was very personable. I have done many of these type of food tours and I would say this is the best I’ve done around the world - thanks to him! I would recommend this trip to anyone. Some fantastic stops and a range of food, places we never would have found on our own. A must book !

We had an incredible time on the Secret Food Tour of Budapest! Our guide, Zoltan, was fantastic. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and full of great stories that brought the city’s history to life. Every stop featured delicious food, but a few stood out to me. The strudel, especially the apple, was unforgettable—perfectly layered, warm, and full of flavor. The lángos… absolutely perfection. I will be thinking about it long after our trip is over. To top it all off, we ended the tour in a cozy speakeasy, enjoying some excellent local wine, local cheese and paprika and some great conversations. Zoltan even recommended a local Christmas market which we visited and was one of our highlights of the trip. Huge thanks to Zoltan for making this such a memorable experience. Highly recommend!

Warning, do NOT eat before this food tour. We (wisely) did not eat breakfast; we went to this food tour; and did not eat again until late evening. AND we didn't even successfully finish all the food everywhere. Zoltan was a fantastic guide - charaismatic, educational, and fun. He was very generous, helped explain the history and culture surrounding the food, and was patient with us even as he put up with the many "intereesting" pronounciations of Hungarian food out of all our mouths, haha. Definitely worth making time for this one.
