Evening cruise a must

4.00We arrived in Budapest and our first activity was a one hour cocktail cruise. Suggest you arrive at least 20 mins prior to ensure you get your desired seat. The audio tour portion of the cruise was excellent, just enough history to explain sites you were seeing. It was a shame our boat had no outdoor vantage point especially for photographs, as the photos through windows were not ideal it had just rained but stopped part way through the tour. In all its worth doing it was a good introduction to our stay in Budapest.

3.00We had a slightly unfortunate experience whilst on the cruise. The sights were beautiful and it really is worth seeing them from the river at night, so in that respect I would encourage people to go. However, two of the other passengers onboard slightly ruined it for us and were quite rude. We ended up moving to stand at the back of the boat to get away from them as it was a full boat and there were no other free seats. The staff were friendly and they tried to be helpful, but all young and weren't able to resolve the situation for us. The audioguide points by our seats also didn't work. It was a shame as it did all rather leave a bad taste in our mouths.

3.00The night cruise is a great experience and a must to see Budapest at night, BUT…. Is there another line that does it better? If so, go with that one. This boat is old and a large majority of the headsets that you use to listen to the commentary were NOT working. NO ONE cared. There was no one to ask for help. When we finally got the waitresses attention, she said she’d tell the captain. Well, I am now at breakfast and I am still waiting for her to come back with an answer. Budapest at night is a wonderful experience, but this cruise line is not!

5.00The boat ride was a wonderful relaxing experience - especially the night cruise! It was well organized for boarding and disembarking. The staff was friendly and the included drink was good. There is covered seating on both the main and top deck. They have headphones for audio guides in multiple languages that you can use. The audio guides were informative of the surroundings and provided some history.

5.00A truly beautiful cruise down the Danube after dark , the Parliament building was stunning and not to be missed day or night. complenentary glass of champagne ( other drinks available) added to this special moment . organisation was perfect and it all went very smoothly
