What makes our original Foodapest Street Food Tour truly unique, is that the experience is the perfect blend of authentic Hungarian flavors, local storytelling, and intimate group vibes. Unlike standard food tours, we go beyond just eating: we connect you to the culture, history, and people behind each bite.
You’ll taste everything from iconic staples like goulash and chimney cake to lesser-known local favorites, all paired with carefully selected regional wines and spirits. Each stop is a mini cultural deep-dive, guided by locals who share not just food, but the stories and traditions that make Hungary’s cuisine so rich.
With a relaxed, small group setting, this isn’t just a tour, it’s a shared culinary journey where you leave full, inspired, and maybe even with a few new friends.

What a wonderful evening not dampened at all however the weather tried! Credit to Birdie and Francesca just for turning up in some very wet weather let alone for continuing to be happy, friendly and enthusiastic hosts. Food, drink and company was excellent. The girls are rightly proud of their city and its historical culture

Incredible Food, Even Better Guide! "Huge thanks to Emma for an unforgettable afternoon with Foodapest! She is professional, witty, and clearly knows the Budapest food scene inside and out. Every stop was a winner, and the portions were very generous. Emma’s recommendations for the rest of our trip were also spot on. Don't hesitate to book this!"
