With a relaxed, small group setting, this isn’t just a tour—it’s a shared culinary journey where you leave full, inspired, and maybe even with a few new friends.

I have loved everything about Hungary and the Foodapest tour was the icing on the cake. Ben, our tour guide, was lovely and so welcoming and informative. He really made the tour so relatable. The price of the tour was excellent and we got to eat and drink so many Hungarian treats, so much so that I didn’t need dinner! I can’t recommend this tour enough. And the langos (like a foccacia but better) was delicious. Trust me, choose this tour, it’s worth it! My whole family loved it and we will do it again when we come back.

Kings was Amazing! She is so knowledgeable and she eloquently described the market. We learned about Hungarian culture, history and food. We also helped cook a delicious Hungarian meal. I went with my wife and 22 year old daughter. We all thought it was a fabulous experience!

Mesi did a great job showing us around to some of the top spots for Budapest street foods! I left with more food than I expected and even an awesome recipe book to make some classics at my home. Highly recommend, I went solo and felt very welcomed!

Wide variety of traditional Hungarian foods. Guide gave each food we tasted an historical context. Wines and other drinks well chosen and were appropriate with the food. Venues were warm and welcoming. Guide friendly and knowledgeable. Highly Recommended. 5 stars

Mesi is very nice, efficient, funny and knowledgeable ! The length of the visit was good, though I would have appreciated a bit more time at the market presenting more food sold there.

Kinga was our guide who was great - our negative experience wasn't about her. WARNING - if you go on Sunday, even if you book the morning Market tour, you don't complete a market tour. You only taste street food. This is due to some stalls being closed Sunday. Nowhere on the site is this stated. I went back and checked. On Saturday they sent an email saying it would be a street food tour and to email with questions. I both emailed and reached out on Viatour to see if we could move our date to Monday instead. I never heard back on either platform. Overall not the experience we wanted or booked. No communication. I wouldn't book again.
