Meet outside the main entrance for introductions and a quick briefing. Look for the bald guy with a cool beard, also the infamous white “Experiences by George” bag on the shoulder.

5.00George was amazing! So nice, Informative and easy going! It felt like we were spending the day with a friend who took us to their favorite spots. We tried so much amazing food. We highly recommend taking this tour with George!! He even gave us won’t recommendation s for the rest of our time in Budapest. Plus we exchanged numbers. Case we had any questions later about the city he loves! Fantastic job!!!

5.00This food tour in Budapest was one of the highlights of my trip. It was a great way to explore the city while tasting a variety of authentic Hungarian dishes I probably wouldn’t have tried on my own. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, thank you George for sharing interesting background on the food, local traditions. Every stop felt carefully chosen, from traditional spots to hidden gems, and the quality of the food was excellent throughout. The portions were generous, so come hungry. By the end, I felt like I had a real understanding of Hungarian cuisine, not just a quick sampling. I highly recommend this tour if you want a mix of great food, local culture, and a relaxed, enjoyable experience in Budapest.

5.00George was wonderful company and a very informed guide. Being raised in the local area he not only knew the foods and had a personal relationship with vendors we visited but provided a tremendous amount of history about the culture, family history and the city. We walked at a very comfortable and casual pace, enjoying variety and more quantity of food than we ever imagined. You certainly are stuffed and more than satisfied with the flavors and quantities provided. His willingness to share family recipes of many items sampled will be a bonus to savor the experience after returning home.

5.00George has a passion for his native Budapest and its food, history and culture. He shared that love with our small group of six by taking us to his favorite booths at the market and beloved restaurants along the Vaci neighborhood, sampling many classic Hungarian foods. We enjoyed a full meal of goulash, bread and wine in a sit-down restaurant to finish our fun, informative, and enjoyable afternoon.
You won't leave Hungary hungry!

5.00We joined with George on his small group guided walk through the central market and local eateries. All our tastings featured truly local produce, made by generations of local families. George is a great host. His small group size made for a really pleasant,unrushed and delicious time in Budapest.
