What To Expect
Szent Istvan Bazilika
You will visit the impressive Saint Stephen's Basilica built for the memory of the first Hungarian king (died in 1038). It has many statues and frescoes, as well as the mummified right hand of the first king. The church is open every day, except Sunday morning religious service.
Szabadsag ter
You will see the dramatic monuments of the Nazi and Soviet occupations and dictatorships as well as the miraculous fountain (during the warm season).

In one day we not just covered both Buda as well as Pest and but also got to know a lot about its history, architecture, heritage and culture. 5.00Our guide and driver (both named Zoli) were excellent and very considerate as I have a slight walking problem. We were able to tailor the tour to what we wanted to see and Zoli (the guide) was able to get assistance for me whenever I needed it. His knowledge and great sense of humor made our day tour even more interesting. Zoli (the driver) was always there to help us on and off the van and managed to park the van as close as he could to the attraction we were going to. I cannot praise the 2 Zoli's high enough as they have been the best driver and guide we have experienced in 20 years of travelling
