What To Expect
St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika)
You will visit the impressive Saint Stephen's Basilica built for the memory of the first Hungarian king (died in 1038). It has many statues and frescoes, as well as the mummified right hand of the first king. The church is open every day, except Sunday morning religious service.

You will see the dramatic monuments of the Nazi and Soviet occupations and dictatorships as well as the miraculous fountain (during the warm season).

Extra sight accessible by car: Thanks to our increased mobility, there is an extra option: Gellert Hill with the best urban view can be added as a highlight
Modification of the route: If the Gellert Hill option is chosen, an other sight may be skipped due to tour length (we suggest to skip Parliament Square)

5.00Wonderful full day tour of many sites in both sides of the river. Good mix of walking and public transportation. Not rushed, but covered many places. Can customize to your priorities . Much easier than in and out of tour bus. Alexandria was fabulous guide and host. Bring ID if you’re 65 + , all transportation is FREE
