What To Expect
Szent Istvan Bazilika
You will visit the impressive Saint Stephen's Basilica built for the memory of the first Hungarian king (died in 1038). It has many statues and frescoes, as well as the mummified right hand of the first king. The church is open every day, except Sunday morning religious service.
Szabadsag ter
You will see the dramatic monuments of the Nazi and Soviet occupations and dictatorships as well as the miraculous fountain (during the warm season).

The tour and Zoli are a must if visiting Budapest.

5.00Zoli was our guide for the day - would highly recommend that anyone doing this tour asks for him. Very knowledgeable not just of the history of Budapest but also of Hungary. Very easy to listen to and had a good sense of humour plus also being good company for the day. Got to see all the major sights and the information was to a level that prompted good interaction between us. The tour and Zoli are a must if visiting Budapest.
