“Great concept – a pity it only works on paper”

1.00The concept actually sounds promising – good food, beautiful views, great atmosphere. Well... at least in theory. The whole main menu was qualitatively ok – but unfortunately they had apparently forgotten that hot food is usually served hot. Everything was consistently served cold. Maybe that was an innovative concept that we simply did not understand. However, the management was particularly impressive: Instead of being professional with our group of 23, they were more defensive or condescending. Our feedback has been consistently ignored, and in some places we felt as if we were not being taken entirely seriously. One bright spot, after all, was the service staff, who were friendly and striving. It's just a pity that good employees can't completely compensate for unprofessional management. Overall: a lot of potential, unfortunately implemented quite disappointingly.

5.00From the moment we stepped on board we were stunned by how beautiful the boat was and the welcome we received. It was like being in a high class restaurant where nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our waiter Joe was attentive and knowledgeable about the food and the views we shouldn’t miss. The food was delicious and plentiful and beautifully presented. The drinks flowed all evening. The boat was luxurious, even the toilets! The violinist played the whole time we were on there and she was outstanding. The views were impressive. This was a highlight of our trip and such good value. We felt completely spoilt. Highly recommend this trip

5.00Booked this evening cruise through Get your Guide at a cost of less than £150 for both of us and have to say it was worth every penny. The boat was a complete WOW, beautiful throughout to the point it made you feel emotional. The staff were wonderful, couldn’t do enough for you, the food was delicious, 3 courses and of course unlimited drinks including wine, prosecco , cocktails and spirits for the 2 and a half hour trip. The violinist was fantastic, she made her instrument sing whilst walking around the tables. The views of Budapest at night were amazing and gave a whole new perspective of the city. We highly recommend this trip and wish we had done it the first night as we would have done it again though saying that it was the perfect ending to our break.
