What To Expect
Your first stop will be in the middle of the sugar cane In that place we will explain you the work conditions of the people and will taste fresh sugar cane you will drive on the trails of the sugar canes to go to the Batey where live the sugar cane cutters... you will see their way of life and we will be able to stop 5 minutes if you have brought something to leave for the children (school supplies, clothes, sweets...)
Rio Chavon
Let's continue our road to a ranch, in the middle of the sugar cane fiels to change our cars...so we will move from Buggy to 4 wheels! Next stop, the Chavon River where you will be able to swim! After swimming let's go to a typical ranch where you will taste local products such as cassava, plantain, fruits... At 5:30 am it will be time to return our quads, but the adventure does not stop there! We will board the safari truck towards the Chavon River...we will board a 100% Dominican barge boat...we will go for a short ride on the river, the bravest can opt for the tarzan jump hanging from a vine, swim in the river, and the others can have an aperitif on board the boat. Around 7pm a delicious dominican lunch will be served on board the boat, while navigating in the river... After the meal, we will do a few dances to digest! 9pm: We will return in the safari truck to your hotels.

5.00We had a wonderful day thanks to Joy who accompanied us during our sunset safari excursion! On the program: buggy in the sugar cane fields, tasting of Dominican fruits and vegetables at a local, then quad to the Chavon river on which we sailed on a floating barge, with great typical meal and batchata dancing! It was really great and we recommend 100%, go there with your eyes closed 👌🏾 thank you again for this delicious memory

5.00If anyone is questioning what to do when visiting this area, this tour is excellent! From start to finish Joy and her crew were 100% there for educational purposes, safety, information, and fun! This tour wouldn't be what it is without that crew, they were amazing! We got picked up at our hotel in a buggy/bus, started with the buggies into the sugarcane fields. There we had a lesson on how it was harvested, sampled the sugarcane etc. After that, we kept going to the Haitian village where the workers lived, that in itself was quite an interesting dynamic, we all enjoyed it but wish so badly we could have seen the school and kids! We then switched from buggy's to quads and headed to the Chavon river. We stopped at a little house on the river for drinks and appetizers ( so so so darn good!). We took the quads back to where we started and back in the bus to catch the riverboat. This was the icing on the cake! Our suggestion would just be to have the riverboat tours for 3-4 hours because it was soooo fun!!! It was all fun but that riverboat... we would go again and again! We ate, we played Tarzan, we drank and danced and it was absolutely wonderful! The only tip is to wear old clothes on this tour because it's fun, muddy, wet, and a dang great time! If anyone should book this, you won't regret it! Thank you again to Joy and her wonderful staff and crew!

5.00Great afternoon and early evening! My favorite time is the early evening with the (very good)dance/rum meal but I would say no more because the discovery will be better. Not to be missed! I also do not forget the swimming in the river without anaconda of course and the "Tarzan" 😉 present in our group and the other things we saw. Thanks for this outing, it was top
