  We booked this 8 hour safari for our family. We picked a 2 seater buggy and a 3 seater buggy. We brought bandanas for our face from the local store and goggles were provided. We stopped at various tourist spots on our way up to latchi for the boat trip which was fun. Lots of off road driving up through the mountains. We and all of our belongings were absolutely covered in dust. All part of the fun. I gave this a 4 star review as the lunch we were sold as one of the stop off points for 15 euros each was really disappointing. We had a piece of chicken, a scoop of rice and a glass of water and lemonade so it was definitely not value for money. The trip was good value though. We travelled back to coral bay via the main roads. We saw wild pigs and goats in the mountains. We did have some people in our group who didn’t respect the guide. They didn’t return from one of the stops on time so we left without them but ended up having to wait for them anyway which meant we only had 15 minutes for lunch. This is a popular activity and we all really enjoyed it.

  Wow ! Golden Rides Safari have once again made our holiday experience here in Cyprus absolutely amazing ! We are now 4 year veterans of this experience having done all the safaris they offer, some of them more than once. We have also hired a quad by ourselves and gone exploring on our own now that we know the area. What made this experience so special this time ? Well, we like to kick off either 8 hour tour to the blue lagoon. I’ve reviewed that before so won’t go into details. However all of George’s team , his wife, Lambrini and Costas recognised us straight away, especially as I was wearing my Golden Rides T shirt they kindly gave to me after I kept on and on that they need to sell them as merch 😂 One day maybe eh guys ? When we got back after the blue lagoon trip, Costas told me, hey if you want to book a private safari with me I can show you more stuff! It was an offer not to be refused. Today he took us to places we have not been to before on the standard trips and we had an absolute blast 👍😀 Just up past Cap St George there is a necropolis (caves of the dead) we didn’t even know was there. We had been to the Tomb of the Kings 2 days earlier in Paphos but this was a much smaller site with 11 smaller tombs. Next we went into Akamas and to the gorge with some pretty extreme riding through some very bumpy tracks, some so narrow with vertical drop offs 100s of metres down, it was both exhilarating and beautiful. After a steep and fast descent down to Lara he took us to a small beach round the cove from turtle beach where we had it to ourselves and went swimming in the warm clear water. Lunch stop was next where all the other safaris were also eating at the open air restaurant that Andriou runs. Finally a massive climb back up into the mountains and then wound our way down tiny zig zag roads back to their base. Thank you Costas and the team for a truly memorable experience!   Stay away from this company. The worst experience I have ever experienced! This company tried to keep our deposits for no reason and we had to report to police. These people are scammers !! An embarrassment to Cyprus and its kind culture.

  It was the Most Amazing trip! We had a Buggy for two and Took the 8 Hour Trip. We drove through cities, offroad and some beauftiful points. Our Trip leader was also a lovely and funny guy. I would recommend this tour !!! Best day in the Holiday for us :)

  We just went on the 8 hour buggy safari and had an absolutely amazing time. Hats off to the tour guide, he did an excellent job and made our day a day to remember. This was an experience I will never forget and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good day out. 11/10 ! Brilliant!   Had an absolutely fab time with these guys. Very well run, they looked after my wife and I perfectly. We were out for most of the day and we got pretty dusty from the trails but that's what its all about. Would definitely recommend you give this a go with these guys. We will definitely be doing it again next time we visit Cyprus.

  Was good but would have liked to of stayed for longer in places like Adonis baths. Lunch was good but not much information about gluten free ( the chicken bbq seemed gluten free - no pitta ) Was good fun and a great day out, don’t forget sun cream!
