This was an amazing trip! We saw orangutans on both days, as well as many other monkeys and birds. Our guide, Hakel, was extremely patient and knowledgeable as well. Definitely worth the trip!

Great experience, 2 super nice guys as guides. We also knew a lot to tell about nature and the surroundings. Lunch in the jungle was good, nasi with vegetables and an egg. And a lot of fresh fruit. Love it!! Spotted an orangutan in no time. That was an experience, but remotely because you can't disturb them. And that's totally good. Dinner at the campfire by the water. Again and super meal. Nice beer with it. Enjoy it. The day after you can do another trek through the jungle, we did not do that the first trek was quite tough. We went down the river with the tupe around 11am. Super. All in all a great experience, highly recommended

2 days full of unique moments! Observing orangutans in their natural habitat - fantastic! Not so fantastic was unfortunately the large mass of other visitors, I felt somewhat like in the zoo. Only without a glass pane between animal and human. The tour was otherwise super organized and the guides provided us with a lot of delicious food! It was really a lot of fun! The hike in the jungle was not easy - physical fitness and surefootedness is definitely a prerequisite for this, some parts are very steep and slippery!! It was challenging but in the end it was totally worth it! Thanks to Dieki and the team at Bukitlawangtour! 👏🏼👏🏼

The guides were kind and competent. We saw a dozen orangutans, including a mother and her child on the last day. Impressive. One of the guides helped me a lot on the last and long climb and on the impressive descent. Very good food. The fun tubing ride. Thank you to the whole team.

On day 1 served fantastic full dinner at camp with different dishes as well as fruit and lunch earlier followed by another full breakfast and lunch on day 2. Camp is comfortable with the basic facilities you would want - toilet, bed has mosquito net, mattress and blanket. Guides were attentive - going at your pace as you need and very knowledgable. Felt very safe and happy as a solo female traveller. Second day recommend the village walk back instead of motorbike so you can have a mini experience there. Be warned this isn’t just a trek, it requires an ok level of fitness as it is physically demanding in terms of climbing, mainly uphill and downhill rather than flat land - recommend good shoes!

We had a good time in the jungle with our tour guide Rivan. He could speak good English and explained all kinds of things. We had 1 night included. The mosquito net contained a lot of holes, which we did not like but otherwise everything is well arranged. We've seen 12 orangutans!
