We did the afternoon safari in Bundala National Park. It was a very great experience. We have even seen many elephants, as well as many different birds, crocodiles and monkeys. Our driver, Amila, explained a lot to us and told us the service was very good and we enjoyed it a lot!

We had an amazing safari experience in the Bundala National Park. Gihan was not only an excellent driver but he was also knowledgeable about many bird species and animals. We were also accompanied by a guide and tracker that further enriched our safari experience. Gihan and the tracker tried their best for us to spot and see as many species as possible. We are really grateful for this unforgettable experience.

I had a great time. Exceeded expectations. 14.00 pick up from my guesthouse. 1 hour travelling time. 2.5 hours in the park. Fantastic, saw so many species of birds, pointed out by an amazingly sharp eyed guide. He was very informative and had a good knowledge of the birds. We were also lucky enough to see 2 adult elephants and a baby, crocodiles, monkeys, water buffalo and spotted deer. All in all a great half day out. Thanks

The best park for birders! Knowledgeable guide and great bird spotter. We were practically in the park by ourselves with only 1 other vehicle. Saw some amazing birds that weren’t seen on other safaris.

Had a superb afternoon with Udayanga at Bundala today. We practically had the whole reserve to ourselves. It’s bursting with flora and fauna that took my breath away at times. The number of birds is stunning and Udayanga allowed us the time to just sit and watch. We also saw monkeys, buffalo, golden jackals, crocodiles and lots of elephants at very close proximity, which was so special. Udayanga was so fun and informative, and also bought me a surprise birthday cake which was really thoughtful. What an unforgettable day - thank you!!

After being in Yala National Park yesterday with another organizer and unfortunately hardly seeing any elephants, I decided to visit Bundala National Park at very short notice. My expectations were fully met. I had booked an afternoon tour this time. Arrived at the parking lot I was greeted very friendly and received. Equipped with binoculars, the name of the animal and the description were explained to me in detail from a book in each animal, in each bird. I was lucky we were the only visitors that afternoon in the park. Luck then makes the appearance first of a male elephant and later of an entire family with up to ten elephants and small baby elephants. Together with the wonderful weather and the wonderful scenery, this was really a dream day. The Bundala National Park as well as the organizer I can highly recommend. Thank you for this great experience.

We had a very nice trip with Gihan watching birds in Bundala Park. He was punctual and we appreciated already on the way to the Park that he is a responsible and careful driver. In the park he gave us binoculars and made us aware of interesting birds, showing us descriptions from a book and a map. We drove to a beach and also into a salt production area. Gihan was very friendly all the way and patiently waited for handing us over to another driver at the end of the safari. We were also glad we had picked Bundala Park as it was a very relaxed, calm experience, with not many other jeeps around. We saw many pelicans, cormorans, painted storks, bee-eaters and kingfishers and we came also close to several crocodiles, water buffalos and an elephant. No flamingos unfortunately.
