A good ride. They did their job. It's a long trip 4 1/2 hrs fro Flores. You have to change buses at the border.

I was a little nervous about crossing borders as a solo traveler with minimal Spanish skills, but this shuttle service was pretty seamless and ran smoothly. Definitely would recommend as a very affordable alternative to flying and paying hundreds of dollars to get to Belize City. The duration was also not as long as I expected. It was around 5 hours. Also a good way to meet other travelers. I liked having the chance to take in the scenery of the Guatemalan and Belizean countryside

Everything worked out smoothly and staff was nice :) Migration and immigration were also quick and easy, and there were no exit or entry fees between Guatemala and Belize.

The bus left about 25 min or so past schedule. Not too bad. It was very full but ok. It did the job. There really aren't many other choices for this trip. The problem we had was that the instructions say to stand by the Peten sign, well, we did and then realized that's not really where they pick you up but rather a block away in a few parking spots in front of a tour office. That was misleading and we ended up in the rain in a long line after we had arrived 30 minutes prior to the 6am departure time. We were the first people there and ended up not even fitting on first shuttle bus. Luckily we made it on the second one they had there.

There are many travel agencies in Flores, several with numerous warnings about reputational risk. We established that Mayan World seemed to be the agency that operated that actually operated the shuttle transport so we used them to book the shuttle between Flores and San Ignacio in Belize. They also came up with the best price. The transfer itself was excellent, there was a change of bus at the Guatemala/Belize border and everything worked without a problem. They even offered a taxi to our hotel after drop off at their offices in San Ignacio which for us wasn’t required as the drop off was very close to our hotel

Nothing to brag about, but this service ran as promised - though with a bit of delay to get going (not sure why). I was not too excited to have our bags on the roof in the pouring rain, but they packed everything well and waterproof. Pick up on other side of border was waiting and ready to go as soon as everyone had passed the rather lengthy immigration process. Dropped us off at bus terminal in Belmopan (not some random corner). All in all, good value and professional.

The service arrived 15min early. It also departed on time and was reliable. Both vehicles had air conditioning. Would use again if required.

This was well organized- safe driver, explanation of the trip in Spanish and English. Safe exchange of Guatemalan currency at the border which was helpful. Some things I learned that may help: 1. You take one bus to the border, get off and walk with your luggage through immigration and get on to a different bus the other side. Don’t leave stuff on the bus! 2. There is no stop for food or drink anywhere . Bring snacks and supplies for the trip. 3. Toilet at the border - you need 1$ Belize to enter. No paper - again bring your own! 4. We left at 6.15am and arrived at boat launch in Belize City at 11.25am 5. Bring a pen - you need to fill a customs form per person. 6. Ground at border is rough and dirty so if it rains …..wear shoes! 7. Luggage goes on top of the bus but was safe and sound under a tarp. The coach is older as expected but in good shape. The driver was very helpful on Belize side. Don’t forget to tip a few $
