We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Captain Vince. It’s clear he loves what he does, and he is so good at it. The tour itself was well thought out, the bus was clean, comfy and full of Ohana! We learned so much during the ride, and it made the journey to each stop go by quickly. Perfect last day time spent. Pro tip: at Waimea Botanical, go straight back to the waterfall and experience that. Take a nice stroll back to the bus and enjoy all the various trails then. You’ll have plenty of time, will dry while walking back, and won’t feel rushed to swim at the waterfall and race back. Mohalo nui loa

Our tour with 1 Epic Tour was nothing short of amazing! Captain Vince picked us up from our hotel bright and early at 6:30 AM, which turned out to be a brilliant move—we beat the crowds at every stop. Our group of four had the tour all to ourselves, and Vince made it feel personal, informative, and fun from start to finish. He took us to all the top spots: Diamond Head lookout, Dole Plantation, a lively macadamia nut farm (where he had us tasting sauces like a pro), the peaceful Byodo-In Temple, Waimea Botanical Gardens and waterfall, plus a delicious lunch at Nico’s on Pier 38. We also passed by iconic landmarks like the Iolani Palace, King Kamehameha statue, and the Hawaii 5-0 building! Captain Vince is a true local—knowledgeable, warm, and full of aloha. He even helped us learn a bit of Hawaiian (“mahalo nui loa” stuck with us!). What made it extra special was that, even though he didn’t have to, he took photos of us throughout the day and sent them afterward—such a thoughtful gesture that gave us lasting memories. We also used his service for return airport transportation, which was just as smooth and friendly. We’d absolutely book with him again and recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oahu!
