What To Expect
Belfast City Region
You will see the wall art of west Belfast murals the peace wall and some memorial gardens
Shankill Road
Your Belfast Murals Tour begins in the Shankill Road area of Belfast which is (Protestant/British), where your Black Taxi Cab driver will explain a detailed history of the area. We begin in 1690, when William of orange arrived in Ireland to defeat King James the 2nd at the famous Battle Of The Boyne. There will then be an explanation about the recent troubles, which started in 1969 and ended when the peace agreement was signed in 1998. You will go for a short walk around the area, where your black taxi cab driver will explain the loyalist murals Belfast has in the area and what they represent. You will have the opportunity to take your own photographs of the Belfast murals.

5.00This was an absolutely fantastic tour! Our guide Danny L. was so knowledgeable and really opened our eyes to some things you may not have learnt. He also gives you homework for later which is a list of books and movies. I honestly cannot say enough nice things about him and the tour. It was very sobering and a bit heavy but everyone should know about the history.

5.00If you are visiting Belfast, booking a tour with Cab Tours Belfast is an absolute MUST. Myself and my two friends had the most incredible experience with our tour guide, Tucker, and honestly, we have not stopped talking about it since. From the moment he collected us in the luxurious, spacious cab(more like a celeb mini bus), we genuinely felt like VIPs. The comfort, the atmosphere, the attention to detail, everything was first class. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was Tucker himself. He was witty, warm, interactive, incredibly knowledgeable, and completely nonbiased in the way he told the history of Belfast. You could tell he had such a passion for sharing the stories, culture, and truths of the city, and he did it in such an engaging way that we were hooked from start to finish. We learned more in those few hours than we ever expected, things about our own country and history that we genuinely knew nothing about. It was emotional, fascinating, extremely thought provoking, and surprisingly fun all at once. The biggest compliment we can give is that we genuinely did not want the tour to end. When Tucker dropped us back, we were honestly devastated it was over. This was not just a taxi tour, it was an experience we will remember forever. Tucker made us laugh, made us think, and gave us a completely new appreciation for Belfast and its history. Worth every single second, and without a doubt something I would do again. Thank you, Tucker, for giving us such a memorable day. You are an absolute credit to Cab Tours Belfast.

5.00My wife and I really enjoyed our tour with Martin from Cab Tours Belfast. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the history between Northern Ireland and Ireland and did an excellent job explaining the complexities and perspectives from both sides of the conflict. Martin showed us the murals in both the Protestant and Irish neighborhoods and explained how someone celebrated as a martyr by one side could be viewed as a terrorist by the other. His balanced and thoughtful approach made the history come alive and gave us a much deeper understanding of Belfast and The Troubles. We learned so much during the tour and truly appreciated Martin’s insight, professionalism, and engaging storytelling. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Belfast.
