Questa esperienza di caccia all’aurora è pensata per chi desidera vivere una serata autentica nell’Artico, lontano dai grandi gruppi turistici. Essendo un piccolo gruppo (massimo 8 persone), potremo goderci appieno il silenzio e la magia del paesaggio notturno. Condividerò spiegazioni approfondite sull’aurora boreale, sulla cultura locale e sulla storia della regione, arricchendo il viaggio di contenuti culturali, non solo visivi. Foto professionali sono incluse, così potrete portare con voi un ricordo autentico e di qualità. Un tour perfetto per chi cerca emozione, conoscenza e un contatto diretto con l’inverno artico!

Età minima: 14 anni. Le notti artiche possono essere intense, e la presenza di bambini potrebbe influire sul comfort della famiglia e del gruppo.

Anche se vi darò tute termiche adatte alle temperature artiche, vi consiglio vivamente di avere già indumenti invernali di base (strati interni).

Portate con voi il passaporto nel caso sia necessario oltrepassare il confine con la Finlandia.

Per garantire un ambiente confortevole per tutti i partecipanti, durante l’intera durata del tour non è consentito fumare, nemmeno durante le pause all’esterno del veicolo. Anche una breve sigaretta all’aperto tende a impregnare giacche e guanti, e in uno spazio ristretto come un minivan questo può causare forte disagio agli altri ospiti.

Per ammirare al meglio l'Aurora Boreale, dobbiamo lasciare l’inquinamento luminoso di Tromsø e immergerci nella natura selvaggia dell’Artico. La direzione che prenderemo dipenderà dal meteo della serata: le nuvole possono nascondere l'Aurora, quindi la nostra priorità sarà trovare un cielo terso. Quando necessario, potremmo persino attraversare il confine con la Finlandia! Importante: Le previsioni meteo per Tromsø non sono un motivo per cancellare il tour: il cielo sopra la città non riflette le condizioni nei luoghi in cui cerchiamo l’aurora. Il nostro obiettivo è infatti uscire da Tromsø e trovare zone con cielo sereno. In caso di dubbi sul meteo, vi invito a contattarmi prima di annullare la prenotazione.

Una volta trovato il posto ideale, sceglieremo una location intima, lontana da altri tour e luci artificiali. L’attesa è parte dell’esperienza: l’Aurora può apparire dopo pochi minuti o dopo un paio d’ore. Per rendere l’attesa piacevole, accenderemo un falò, ci godremo una zuppa, biscotti e cioccolata calda, e vi racconterò tutti i segreti di questo spettacolo naturale. Le temperature in inverno possono variare tra +5°C e -30°C, quindi metterò a disposizione tute termiche per tutti i partecipanti. Se avete una macchina fotografica, vi insegnerò a impostarla per catturare al meglio l'Aurora. Inoltre, scatterò io stesso delle foto professionali per voi, così potrete conservare un ricordo indelebile di questa notte magica.

An experience that we will carry in our hearts. It was not only a tour to see the aurora, but a real journey led by a competent, helpful and passionate person! Mirko told us about the dawn, sharing knowledge and doing the impossible to allow us to admire it. You can feel the love for his work in every gesture, away from the usual tourist circuits. If you want something genuine, nice and special, this experience in Tromsø is truly unique.

We didn't get to see the aurora during this trip, which was mentioned at the beginning as a real possibility since the weather conditions were not the best. The 3 star review is mostly due to the bus being really big (even with the 'small bus') and slow, the food provided on the small fire pit not being sufficient (hot chocolate was water based and it was not possible to make smores) for such a long trip. The good parts were the guide who was really experienced (Socrates, the great guide), the equipment that was provided and the ride back to the hotel. The guide didn't send the picture he took from my girlfriend, she was really upset since we stopped at a cliff for 1 hour waiting, with nothing to do but take these long exposure pictures drawing in the air with our phone flashlights. They mentioned all pictures would be shared but we couldn't find hers and there was no real support on their end. As a suggestion, they should implement a new free trip if you don't see the aurora, as some other operators do and its really reassuring.

the experience was great. we left at 6pm to search for the aurora, but unfortunately it was very cloudy and raining, so near the city you could not see. despite this, our guide Mirko took us across the border to Finland and did everything to find the perfect place to admire it. the result was great because we found an area away from the lights and surrounded by nature, where we lit the bonfire while eating and admiring the aurora. all this under a beautiful starry sky!! also the guide explained us how the aurora works and showed us the different constellations. Thank you again for this experience!
