This tour takes you in small groups maximum 15 people into Cajón Del Maipo. the perfect place to escape from the city and be in the middle of the Andes mountains. Enjoy the natural surroundings, and beautiful panoramas. before including a picnic with view of the Andes with chilean wine. And also enjoy of a delicious empanada at San jose. A very unic pre mountain rage of the andes small town.
Nature lovers will have time to take in the sights and amazing photos.
We will make sure to show you the specific spots to enjoy of the best sightseeings and have the most significant pictures that the andes can offer. The guide will share his knowledge and the respect you must have to what surrounds us.

During winter season (June-Sept) the vehicle does not go to the reservoir due to the snow on the road. There will be some walking to get there
There will be a stop at a rental store winter season June-Sept for proper snow boots and clothing, if needed.
Pick up time will be confirmed 1 day before the travel date by email or whatsapp 9PM approx
Pick up from hotels central located downtown, providencia, las condes or vitacura. If staying apart from hotel radio area must consider a meeting point
Weekends and Holidays departure starts from 8am and Arrivel hotel at 6pm approx . Must Consider if having a flight before 9 pm

What To Expect
Cajon del Maipo
Start the day with convenient pick-up at your hotel in Santiago. A quick stop for bathroom facilities and coffee mini market before Leaving the city behind and entering the Andes mountains. Then drive the Maipo River Canyon to admire the region’s many natural wonders in direction to the Yeso reservoir.
Embalse El Yeso
Arriving at the Yeso Reservoir. Your guide takes you to some of the most impressive viewpoints to take in the natural landscapes. Also enjoy some free time to explore or take photos of the lake before you set the journey to a Local Restaurant

1.00Two nights before we got a second confirmation. The next day we were flying to Santiago. At 830am they sent an email that they didn’t have enough for the trip but had an alternate trip. We got off the plane at noon and I replied yes. Then at 5pm I was told that i had responded too late and they had canceled us and refunded the tour. We were left with nothing!! And all trips were booked. Terrible customer service!

5.00This was honestly one of the best experiences of my life! The tour guide was an expert, got us to multiple stops all within the timeframe, and made sure we had plenty of food, water, and bathroom breaks. There were others in my group that were nice. The beauty of the lagoon is truly stunning, and they pick you up right outside your hotel which is nice in foreign country. I would 100% do this again, thank you again for the experience!

5.00(Inca Lagoon tour). Hector was our guide and he was highly knowledgeable and entertaining. Alejandro was our driver. Whole day was very organized, informative, well paced and enjoyable. Highly recommend. Viator does a fantastic job tracking, communicating, confirming and managing payments. We booked 8 tours between Chile and Argentina and did not have a single bad experience wrt organization.

5.00Great day exploring the Maipo valley. Beautiful, majestic mountains on display under incredibly blue, sunny skies. Lots to see along the way in the little townships and villages to give you a glimpse of everyday life along the river from horse back trail riding to river rafting. Great photo opportunities at every turn. Alvaro was a wonderful, laidback tour guide, pointing out various interesting landmarks and Mauricio, the driver was very skillful on the narrow valley roads. A wonderful day and an amazing tour of the Andes mountain range. A must see!
