5.00This was a highlight of our trip. We loved learning about the history of the fortress, and learned so much from our guide Juan. He answered so many questions and made it a really fun and meaningful experience. He included several other stops that really made this tour a highlight, including a local market and bird sanctuary area. We were looking forward to it, but were blown away by how awesome it was. This is highly recommended!

5.00I was visiting from Miami and I always wanted to visit the Callao neighborhood of Lima as it’s rarely covered in guidebooks. Thanks to Marco Polo, our guide, he gave the group a very detailed tour of the history and culture of Callao. The tour of the market and the fort was educational and interesting. I recommend this tour for people wanting to learn more about the history of Lima and Peru.

5.00Juan is an enthusiastic and very knowledgeable guide. Juan grew up in Callao so knows the district really well and is passionate about sharing the history with you. The street art is quite old now and a lot is in areas unsafe to go into, so don’t expect too much if this is your expectation. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit, highly recommended :)
