Explore the very outer Great Barrier Reef in luxury and style with Calypso. The custom designed vessel will take you to Agincourt or Opal Reef, both regarded as some of the most significant sites on the Great Barrier Reef. Snorkeling is the easiest way to experience the reef or try an introductory dive, no experience required. For the advanced divers, certified diving is available. Let Calypso take you to the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef and explore the rich and diverse coral gardens.

Environmental Management Charge of $7.00 per person is included in the fare from 1st July 2023
Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
Additional dives may be booked and paid for on board (subject to availability). Maximum of three dives in a day.
Children under the age of 12 years are not permitted to dive.
Evidence of dive certification is required from all divers wishing to participate in a certified dive
Children must be accompanied by an adult
If its raining on your day of travel, the tour will still go ahead. If Calypso cancels due to poor weather, mainly high winds, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
Cancellation fees may apply if less than 24 hours notice is given prior to departure

Cruise & 1 Introductory Dive
Cruise & 1 intro dive. No experience required. All snorkel/dive equipment, morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea included. Minimum age for diving is 12 yrs
Cruise & Snorkelling Only
Cruise including snorkeling and all necessary equipment will be provided. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
Cruise & 1 Certified Dive
Cruise & 1 cert dive with a PADI dive master. All snorkel/dive equipment, morning tea, lunch & afternoon tea included. Certification cards are required.

Annette T5.0Sep 2024Great day out, friendly, helpful & experienced crew. Well organized. We went to 3 x different sites. The fish were beautiful. Tip - take sea sick tablets before you go out - could be the difference between having the worst day & the best day out!!Worth every minute!

There were enough staff on board to help everyone and ensure safety, the food was excellent, and the tour itself was outstanding. It does list as a long time but it is worth every minute from the boat ride, to swimming in the reef, and being in awe of the beauty that you were surrounded by the entire time. If i ever go back to Port Douglas I will book this tour no doubt and have already recommended it to many of my friends and family!Relaxed and special trip

The staff were really inviting and friendly with a special stand out from Darcy and Tim, made the trip memorable. Definitely be back. Also really enjoyed the opportunity to snorkel and dive more than one site.So much fun & such great staff!
Rachel P5.0Aug 2024We had an amazing time! I've been to the Low Isles before, but the Outer Reef is so much better! My husband got seasick & the staff were so great at caring for him & checking in on him. They even stayed with him & offered to take him around on a tour when he wasn't feeling well. They had ginger tablets for seasickness as well. They had a marine biologist on board, which was so good to learn about everything we were seeing! The staff were so friendly & kind.
