The experience of a lifetime for someone who has mostly snorkelled in the Caribbean and Belize. Dynamic and vibrant corals with such interesting fish, little and big. I wandered just a little further than most of the group and saw a Humphead Wrasse that I figured was 4-5 feet high and long. What a thrill. We visited three reef sites on a beautiful calm day. Perfect experience with a knowledgeable and fun crew. Thanks, Calypso crew under Captain Jorg.

Great experience with the crew and fellow passengers (about 30 people). Timely start (8:30) and completion (4:30). Good instructions for snorkeling, along with a fun guided tour by the resident marine biologist on the 2nd of the 3 trips. I actually got sea sick and they were prepared with ginger tablets and a strong med (TravaCalm), which saved the trip. Lunch was solid (brownies were the highlight). 10/10 would recommend to check them out and have a great time!

Fantastic day on the Calypso outer reef tour. I am a very nervous swimmer and wasn’t sure I would even get in the water but the staff were amazing. With their help I managed to snorkel each one of the 3 stops on the reef. Very well organised trip with lunch, morning and afternoon tea and all equipment included. A truly amazing experience. Would definitely recommend.

A fantastic day from the warm greeting to welcome us aboard . The crew attended to all our needs. From snorkelling to having a swim and ride in the rib boat ro see the reef . Refreshments delicious and lunch was more than we expected and was of a very high standard for providing food on a boat . The 3 locations the boat took us too certainly did not disappoint.. Well done to the skipper and crew . Definitely a 10 out of 10 from us . Would highly recommend this company and value for money.

No matter what your level of experience with snorkeling or diving, Calypso will make sure you get to see the beautiful Barrier Reef. The staff is ready to help in any way they can, even a really terrible swimmer like me got to experience the snorkeling experience and have a wonderful time. To me, the Great Barrier Reef is definitely a world wonder. Also the tour was just the right length, we got back in plenty of time to have a full evening of fun back in Port Douglas. My only minor complaint is that the food they served for lunch made me nauseous. Maybe, that's not the point of the cruise, but better food would make for a better day.

Professional, helpful, Kind and encouraging staff helped all 50 of us to snorkel— from the levels of those who could dive to those who hadn’t snorkeled for 40 years. Sting suits were supplied to all, with noodles or life jackets available to use as well. Captain even brought out the glass bottomed dinghy for one family member who couldn’t snorkel on that particular day so they could experience seeing the beautiful reef corals and fish. Very comfortable diving boat with wide multiple stairs for ease of getting in and out of waters plus great lunch and snacks and drinks. Marine biologist on board to give a reef talk. Bring your own towel, dry bag for camera phones - they also have reef- friendly sun block and 1 per person tablet of sea sick pill if it’s a very windy/ choppy day. Great experience at a world heritage site. Great staff making it a good experience for all. One of best trips of Australia.
