It was an amazing, interactive experience. The elephants roam free and are not forced to do anything. They live in a nice environment and are treated respectfully, which is important to me. We made them lunch and hand fed them. Then followed them down to the river, where we were able to get in and give them a scrub down. We had lots of time with them and lots of time to take pictures. Nothing felt rushed or hurried. A very enjoyable experience. In a place where they deserve support for their care of these amazing creatures.

Chance to get up close to elephants and feed and wash them . After eating fresh fruit we then hand feed them the rinds. Excellent host who explained what to expect for our 2 1/2 hour visit.

It was just incredible. There were 3 elephants. We were only 9 visitors to the camp Before we were allowed to feed there was a lot of information that was also good for us (Germans with limited English skills) to understand. The elephants did not have to serve as mounts nor were they chained. First we kneaded elephant dumplings and then fed them to the animals. Time for great photos was plentiful. Then the elephants trotted to the river and anyone who liked was allowed to scrub off the animals. A great experience. And the caretakers' treatment of the animals was so affectionate.

We thoroughly enjoyed our elephant experience. From making rice & banana balls for them, feeding them and stroking them we got to see three distinct personalities of the sanctuary elephants. There was the opportunity to swim with the elephants or take a mud bath with them so a change of clothes is needed if you want to do this part of the experience. Our guide Anne, was brilliant. She spoke clearly so everyone could understand the dos and don’ts when with the elephants to keep them calm and the visitors safe. We had a lovely group of people and everyone was able to interact closely with the elephants. The elephants were clearly extremely well cared for and were very happy, doing only what they wanted to do - not a specific set of planned activities purely for our benefit! The work being done at the sanctuary is important and deserves our continued support. Well worth a visit.

Very very unique experience that felt like a private moment with the elements in their habitat. Very calm and liked that was not a zoo, was a sanctuary instead. Got to feed them and get up close.

This was a great experience. The staff obviously really love and care for the elephants. Feeding them and bathing them was so much fun, and I love supporting an organization doing such great work.

An incredible experience I would fully recommend. The first part of the day starts with making the elephant food with your elephant guide. Our guide Seth was amazing with so much knowledge and made the day really fun. The feeding and walk through the forest was very enjoyable with Seth pointing out and explaining local wild life and the elephant behaviours. We finished the walk at the pond where elephants bathed. The lunch was beautiful and all the staff incredibly attentive. I would fully recommend this sanctuary visit. The elephants were beautiful.

Really enjoyed this! We chose the morning session and were fortunate to have a small group, so we had lots of time with the elephants, feeding them, washing them, and splashing in the water with them. There were just three of them, so it was a nice intimate experience. They are gentle giants, and all they want to do it eat, so as long as they have food they are happy!
