Experience this unforgettable guided tour through the walls of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes in one of the most innovative attractions in the province of Malaga. Discover nature in a different way from 300 meters above the Guadalhorce River.

El Caminito del Rey in El Chorro is located in the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, between the municipalities of Álora and Ardales. Enjoy a guided tour of an exciting footbridge suspended over the pits of the Sierra Huma, which is 3 kilometers long and less than 10 meters wide during some sections of the route.

During the tour you can see remains of the old path, which was originally created as a means of passage between the Salto del Chorro and the Salto del Gaitanejo for the workers in the Hidroeléctrica del Chorro Society.

Experience a pure adrenaline rush from up to 100 meters above the Guadalhorce River while you simultaneously enjoy the nature of one of the largest protected natural spaces in the province of Malaga.

  • To do yes but no need for a guide

The meeting place is not clear at all. You must pass the large pedestrian tunnel and go to the start of the hike. We never figured out who to pick up our tickets from. Fortunately the people there are nice and because we didn't know where we should go we arrived late for our departure and were able to join another group. Clearly no interest in taking a guide (English or Spanish please). Take your tickets early enough to do without a guide. The path is secure throughout and spectacular. To be done.

Great experience - unfortunately the sanitary facilities at the kiosk are in a condition that is unacceptable!

  • Will definitely return

Caminito del rey is amazing, we had great guide and enjoyed it very much. There were people buying tickets there although they were sold out. They just had to wait longer.

This was hiking never experienced before. The views were spectacular and the trail was very safe. Most of the trail was flat but there were some inclines and steps. Give yourself at least 20 min to hike to where you are to meet. The guide had some interesting facts, but you can purchase tickets and not have a guide.

  • Be sure to arrive early...
