El Caminito del Rey in El Chorro is located in the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, between the municipalities of Álora and Ardales. Enjoy a guided tour of an exciting footbridge suspended over the pits of the Sierra Huma, which is 3 kilometers long and less than 10 meters wide during some sections of the route.
During the tour you can see remains of the old path, which was originally created as a means of passage between the Salto del Chorro and the Salto del Gaitanejo for the workers in the Hidroeléctrica del Chorro Society.
Experience a pure adrenaline rush from up to 100 meters above the Guadalhorce River while you simultaneously enjoy the nature of one of the largest protected natural spaces in the province of Malaga.

4.00A good day out overall. Finding the meeting point is rather vague and they should have emailed directions sooner, probably as soon as I prepaid the tour. I also question the need for wearing the helmets which get uncomfortable after a while. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable afternoon.

4.00Save money and skip the guided tours. Just read up on the history and walk the gorge. The guides are extremely hard to understand mostly because of poor audio pieces provided by the tour guide.

4.00It was so good to do but we did find it a little confusing as to where to park, where exactly to meet for the correct meeting point. Staff there though were really helpful & friendly. Beautiful scenery and very glad that we did the experience.

5.00it was an amazing experience. the tour guide was excellent and very attentive about the group. Instead of speaking loudly to the whole group, she used a small microphone and gave us individual headsets, so it was much easier to hear and understand her.

5.00It was awesome. Also we did the 2.1 km walk to the entrance where there is beautiful scenery and you can see parts of the trail. There is great hiking in a few sections when you are not on the elevated sections.

4.00Great hike! Great heights! Very fun and crazy gorgeous. Our guide was amazing and overall it was a great, very scenic and breathtaking hike. Directions on Google maps are WRONG. Not enough directions on Viator AT ALL. Lots of people were at wrong place. Go towards North Acceso signs, go past El Mirador Restaurant and park at the first parking lot on left after restaurant. You will see a small check in building. Terrible to no good directions on Viator!!

5.00The Caminito del Rey Guided Tour was absolutely incredible! The scenery was breathtaking — dramatic cliffs, turquoise waters, and a thrilling walkway suspended high above the gorge. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny, and made the history of the area come alive. The pace was comfortable, with plenty of time for photos. Highly recommend this tour — it’s an unforgettable experience🤩

5.00Exciting and safe. Definitely not to be done in the hot periods but take advantage of the months such as October or spring. With driving it lasts twice as long but if you're lucky as we were we found a special girl
