Although I’ve lived in the valley for >13yrs, we often have guests visiting so I thought we would play tourist and go on Janice’s walking tour with recent visit of family. Everyone enjoyed the tour, all Janice’s well researched tidbits of Canmore history and folklore. I even learned a few new things about my hometown. I’d highly recommend Janice’s tour when you next have guests visiting our wonderful locale- you too may learn a thing of two!

We had such a fun tour! Janice was well informed, had a great route and all kinds of interesting facts and stories. We learned a lot about Canmore- historical, practical and ‘touristy’. And our chats while walking showed that she clearly knows the whole region with respect to activities to undertake and places to see I highly recommend Janice and Canmore Walking Tours.

While I was in Canmore having a wonderful sisters’ get together in mid October/25, my local sister arranged a walking tour of the town with Janice. Although I had visited several times before, I learned local history that I didn’t know, saw important sites that I had never noticed , and heard more about the community culture, all while enjoying relaxed conversation with personable Janice. Seeing Canmore through Janice’s lens really enriched our remaining time. We even later explored beautiful hiking trails suggested by her. Thankyou so much Janice! Great to meet you!

Recently was out in Canmore with my sisters (1 lives there) and we had a walking tour guided by Janice. It was awesome. I learned a lot and Janice was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and pleasant. She was very amenable at answering questions and accommodating our needs. I highly recommend doing a walking tour with Janice. Kate MacDonald (from the Nation’s Capital)

Did this tour with Janice today. Her tour is thoughtfully constructed and informative without being a lecture, and we spent a very pleasant two hours. She also took the time at the end of the tour to provide personalised advice on places to go, transport logistics etc. The tour is definitely worth the money and Janice is an asset to Canmore.
