Full-Day Eco Adventure Tour in the Tambopata Jungle

From the city of Puerto Maldonado, embark on a day of rustic activities. Walk across the hanging bridges while observing the treetops all the way to the final tower, where you'll zip-line from one tree to another. After lunch and relaxing in hammocks, you will paddle along the Madre de Dios River, taking turns with other passengers, until you reach Monkey Island. There, you will walk along a trail to look for monkeys. Remember that they are wild animals, so it’s possible they will approach closely or you may only see them from a distance.

What To Expect

We will meet at the starting point at 9:30 am, and at 9:45 am, we will begin walking with the guide to the dock, where we will board boats with outboard motors. We will navigate for 45 minutes until we reach the location where we will start the rustic adventure activities. We will walk through the forest until we reach the first tower to begin the canopy activity. After crossing the hanging bridges, one by one, we will do the zip line activity. Once we finish, we will return to the restaurant for lunch. After a break, we will start the next activities: kayaking on the Madre de Dios River. We will take turns paddling until we reach Monkey Island, where we will search for a group of monkeys and have the chance to feed them. Remember, they are wild animals, so it’s possible we won’t be able to see them up close.

The best experience if you want to do all the activities!!! The staff at the lounge were so kind, rooms were clean, food was awesome at every meal — highly recommend staying. Also, our guide, Franklin, was the BEST. He is so incredibly knowledgeable about everything in the region and can identify all the animals just by sound. He spotted so many things for us to see and gave us such a fun experience. Highly highly recommend having Franklin as your guide :)

Such an amazing experience! Our guide, Franklin, was super knowledgeable and it always impressed me how many animals he was able to spot and how much he knew about the plants and surrounding areas. I 100% recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the rainforest!

Franklin is an amazing guide that goes the extra mile for you. The lodge itself was good and cozy. Enough room to sleep and to keep your stuff. The bathroom was a little on the smaller side.

I needed to disconnect and the amazing pass, we went fishing never before and I found it a pretty good experience, the lunch they offered me was very good as well as the guide service he knew a lot about everything I asked him and we made good connection
