Itaimbezinho Canyon
Witness the beautiful millennial basaltic stroke, approximately 700 meters deep and six kilometers long. Two easy trails through the edges allow to see the walls covered by Araucaria: the Vertice (3km, 45 minutes, round trip) and the Elbow (6km, two hours, round trip).
The Cotovelo (Elbow) trail is 6.3 km long (round trip) on a completely flat path, with a walk that takes an average of 2:30h (round trip). People of all ages can take the Elbow trail, which starts at the park's headquarters. Most of the path is made by an old park road, the rest of the path is made by the edge of the canyon. Arriving at the first viewpoint, it is possible to see the classic image of the Itaimbezinho walls. Then the trail continues to follow the canyon where you can see views from other angles, with emphasis on the Elbow, which gives the name to the trail.

I actually did not go, I received the confirmation the day before, at 20:30 and the next day at 7:30 at the meeting place, I was informed that it would not happen, there was not enough people. Disappointing.

Excellent attention from the whole team. They were very friendly, answered my inquiries accurately. The tour is good, safe and with very good views. The rhythm is according to the group and the guide, Itamar, has a lot of knowledge and interacts with everyone. Pretty recommended to spend a different day knowing more about RS.

We went with Broker tourism (I highly recommend it for the lawn and cinnamon region) to the canyon of Itambezinho, the Guide Itamar, a passionate for the place, took us along the trails and showed us the wonderful view of the canyons. It was a day with a lot of rain and cold, but none of it took the beauty and charm of this tour. As my husband has disc hernia and could do the whole track, the Itamar (our Guide) managed a fireman, park employee, to take my husband to the viewers and thus enjoy the beautiful view of this place.

Very nice ride. Despite the rain and the cold, it was possible to enjoy the experience, see beautiful landscapes and hear explanations about the vegetation with the Guide Itamar. Approved.

Incredible tour, with the best guide ITAMAR, who knows everything about the region and provided us with a wonderful tour, with time to enjoy the place, without rushing. This is complemented by the attention of the agency girls: Paula and Sara, with all their friendliness and attention to tourists. It's so worth taking the tour with them. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful place!!! It's worth the experience of going to see it. Our guide Itamar was friendly! The infrastructure of the place impressed me: snack bars, and especially clean, fragrant bathrooms.

Over the years it became an increasingly beautiful German town with many entertainment options for the whole family. There are countless gastronomic options, with fondue rodizio as the star dish. A town to walk night and day. Option B is Canela, only 7 km away, it is worth going to see it for the Cathedral and all the businesses along those km. Minimum stay: 2 nights
