This activity consists of a walk along a stretch of river, overcoming the natural obstacles that arise. Swimming in natural pools, jumping into lagoons surrounded by giant cliffs and, eventually, using ropes and other safety aids, to perform rappels and other techniques that allow us to reach the end of our route.

What To Expect
It is on the Varziela River, located in Castro Laboreiro, in the heart of Peneda Gerês National Park, that we offer you the opportunity to experience Star Canyoning. A route in a more accessible format, as this is perfect for those who want to get started in the practice, but also who want to live unique and fun moments. It is a fun route where you can perform activities such as abseiling, natural slides and jumping into the water. It is also an easy route and recommended for families with children from the age of 6, because all obstacles are manageable. In addition to all this, you will also be accompanied by our monitors who will provide you with all the security you need.

5.00With my spouse we had a great time. We made various jumps at different heights, no obligation for those who did not feel able, always a plan B. Several families accompanied us and our 2 guides were very attentive and vigilant to children or adults not reassured. Looking forward to receiving the photos taken by one of the monitors during the experience. It was a great time, eager to test the level above with them. Thanks to Silvano and Eliseu. 👌🏼

5.00It was a great experience with our guides Horácio and Mariana. They were very kind and funny. We enjoyed a lot and now understand the basics of canyoning. Our daughters had fun and also did the ‘big’ jump. Furthermore it was great that they made a lot of fantastic pictures. I really recommend this!
