Begin your day exploring the awe-inspiring Nguom Ngao Cave, trekking through its vast chambers filled with magnificent stalactites. Next, visit the Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of Vietnam’s most spectacular natural wonders. Take a boat ride to the foot of the falls, capturing breathtaking photos as the mist rises around you. After a scenic lunch atop the mountains in Vinh Quy, wander through the rolling Vinh Quy Grass Hills, where endless green landscapes stretch in every direction. Before heading back to Cao Bang City, take a refreshing dip in the cool waters of Doc Lap Waterfall. Our journey took us from Cao Bang, riding through stunning mountain roads, visiting the God’s Eye Mountain, Ban Gioc Waterfall, the China border, local villages, and much more. The accommodations were beautiful and carefully chosen, allowing us to fully enjoy the charm of each location. Along the way, we connected deeply with the local culture, meeting wonderful people and experiencing authentic moments. We were accompanied by four amazing guides/easy riders who not only ensured our safety but also went above and beyond to assist us at every step of the trip. 5.00I had a fantastic time with Loop Tours in Ha Giang. Andrew in the office was very responsive and clear with information and I was really impressed with the quality of the accommodation and food on the trip. The drivers were all very safe and also joined in the fun in the evenings. The scenery is fantastic and we stopped at loads of viewpoints and other places of interest. There were 6 in our group - a fantastic bunch of people and I was so glad that I wasn’t in the big groups of 30 we say travelling around. Special thanks to my driver Lom who looked after me wonderfully. Highly recommended.

5.00One of the best things I've done! I took the 3 day easy rider option and had an amazing time. My guide Trinh was super kind and explained everything really well. I went as a solo traveller and there was 5 of us in the group. On the first day we only saw 1 other Westerner, felt like a real hidden gem. In the evening we met up with a group that was doing the Ha Giang - Cao Bang combo tour and kept going with them. It was a nice social vibe but still felt like we had the place to ourselves. The food was awesome and the accommodation was a nice mix of comfort and traditional. Highlight was definitely Angel Eye Mountain, Ban Gioc would have been more impressive if they'd turned the water on, Trinh told me it's not as impressive in the dry season but it was still cool to be so close to China. 10/10 recommend
