My wife and I did the 4 day 3 night cao bang loop (they didn’t have the option in trip adviser) with Son and Nghĩa. They were both so wonderful and made a once in a lifetime trip even better than expected. Everyone we met were so wonderful and the views were absolutely gorgeous. If your back and butt can handle it I highly suggest the motorbike tour.

Great trip, our riders were super friendly and kind and were very helpful. Views were amazing as well. Our riders helped us every step of the way, they had water bottles ready and during our time provided us with a plastic suit to cover us when it started raining, they would also help us put the suit on as well. At no point did I feel unsafe even with all the weather, my rider was really calm and drove with ease through all the roads.

Nam did a great job, we had a lovely tour with the Jeep and enjoyed nice people, good food and the Beautiful landscape of Cao Bang. We chose the Jeep, since my mom is 60 and has back issues, and it was perfect. I recommend for anyone who can‘t take the scooter - we had the same amazing experience as the others and always met the Scooter drivers at the locations, restaurants and the homestay

We all had the best time with our riders. The tour leader Son was an absolute hoot, lots of fun and knowledgeable. Despite the weather not once did we feel unsafe. Would definitely recommend doing this tour, the scenery is something else.

I came all the way to Cao Bằng dreaming of Ban Giốc Falls… and then a typhoon said, “Nope!” The roads were rough, the falls were closed, and my umbrella had trust issues. But our guide Sơn? Absolute legend. He navigated detours, rain, and muddy roads like a superhero in flip-flops. Even though the main attraction was off-limits, he still managed to turn the day into an adventure—taking us through the nearby Nguom Ngao Cave, which was stunning and surprisingly cozy for a cave! Son’s English is excellent, his jokes landed (which is saying something for me), and he made sure we were safe the entire time. The driver also deserves a gold medal for steering us through roads that looked like obstacle courses. If you visit Cao Bằng and want a guide who’s calm under pressure, genuinely cares, and can turn a stormy trip into a great memory, ask for Son. He’s the kind of person who reminds you that sometimes the best stories come from plans that don’t go as planned. 10/10 would travel through another typhoon with him.
