  Since 2005, I and my family have had three different trips to Greece and we have used Athens Taxi Wagon, as we have never found a better service. We were heading on a cruise from Piraeus (October 2025) and we spent a few days in Athens both before and after. We wanted something to combine transfers with sightseeing and booked a five hour Cape Sounio tour with pickup from our Athens hotel and drop off at the cruise terminal. We hence made the most of our available time. Upon returned from the cruise, we were picked up directly from the port, enjoyed a full day trip to Delphi before being taken back to our hotel in Athens. The driver was Alexis and we appreciate that he even watched over our luggage while we explored. The archaeological sites were amazing. A local made the experience so much more meaningful by us talking about everyday life in Greece, history and culture. At the end of our stay, Alexis also arranged our early morning airport transfer at 5 am. As always, everything was on time, comfortable, and smooth. We have used private transfer and tour services in several other countries over the years, and I can confidently say that Athens Taxi Wagon stands out above them all. If you are looking for reliability, warmth, and a truly memorable experience in Greece, this is the company to go for.

  The experience with Athens Taxi Wagon on our tour of Athens and Cape Sounio was smooth and well organized. Alexis was the driver and he was outstanding, because from the very beginning, everything felt easy as he knew the city and timed each stop so we avoided the crowds. We appreciate that he made sure we saw every important highlight without being hurried. He has a passion for Athens and shared history, local insights, and local stories along the way that made us connect with the places. It never felt like a scripted tour, but it was rather like exploring with someone who enjoys what he does. We were a bit unsure at first because we booked this independently (not through our cruise line). However, once we started off, we felt relaxed and looked forward to how it goes. Our experience was far better than any cruise excursion we have done. During a short stop Alexis surprised us with coffee, and later he recommended and took us to a nice local eatery for lunch. We even got to see the fresh fish of the day and choose our own. The meal was simple, fresh and we enjoyed it. If you are visiting Athens, and book with Athens Taxi Wagon, getting Alexis as your driver, would make this trip memorable.

  We were looking for an escape the city for a while, so we booked a half day tour to Cape Sounio with Athens Taxi Wagon and we enjoyed a relaxed drive along the Athens Riviera before reaching the Temple of Poseidon. It turned out to be a good choice fur us and what we expected. Our driver, Alexis,arrived at our hotel (Divani Acropolis) on time and welcomed us with a smile. From the very beginning, we felt quite comfortable. He was not just friendly and easy to talk to, but also full of fascinating stories about local history. But, above all, a safe and confident driver. We were searching for a special gift for our grandson back home, and Alexis went out of his way to help us. He happily stopped at a couple of kiosks and even took extra time to save the addresses of two shops on my husband’s phone that he thought might have exactly what we were looking for. Thanks to his help, we found the perfect gift. The booking process with Athens Taxi Wagon was smooth, simple, and easy. Everything we should know was clear and it was well organized from start to finish. We already know that when we return to Greece, we will use their services again. We are especially excited about the idea of a two day Peloponnese tour, and we now hope Alexis will be our driver again because he made the experience so memorable. On a lighter note, we also spent part of the drive back chatting about NBA basketball. I still owe Alexis an apology that my Boston Celtics beat his Giannis recently, but after getting to know him and seeing what a genuinely wonderful person he is, I found myself quietly cheering for his team too. Do not hesitate for a second to book a tour or transfer with Athens Taxi Wagon. You will be well attended to and you will not be disappointed.

  Alexis was always spotlessly the car super clean and mineral water always on board.He took us from the airport to the hotel..the next day to Cape Sunion..has everything worked out great on the second day to Piraeus to the ship and will pick us up tomorrow in Pireaus and drive to the airport.He speaks fluent English is funny and I can only highly recommend him.Alexis again and again.Thank you!!!!!

  Alexis is the best! My family and I did multiple trips with him and we had the best time! He was prompt and professional. We were entertained the whole time too! I highly recommend using him! He also educated us on all of the different areas of Athens.

  Alexis our driver was incredible - he gave us so much information- took us to a wonderful place for dinner and showed us great sites along the way. It was a truly spiritual experience seeing the sunset at Poseidon temple. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before l. Definitely do this trip and request Alexis as your driver

  "We had an unforgettable private tour to the Temple of Poseidon and Cape Sounio with our fantastic guide and driver Alexis. Not only was he knowledgeable, but his humor and warmth made the experience even more enjoyable. He shared fascinating stories that brought history to life. We drive through the Riviera and many small beach towns. A quick stop at the beautiful Lake Vouliagmeni and then we were ready for the perfect sunset time at the Temple of Poseidon. Alexis treated us to an amazing memorable dinner at a traditional Greek taverna, where they graciously prepared delicious vegetarian meals for us, even around closing time. We now know who to call next time we are in Greece. Traveling to places is all about making memories and we mad a memorable evening thanks to Alexis. Highly recommend this tour and our awesome guide Alexis for a perfect blend of culture, history, culinary delights and picture perfect locations.

  We've used Alex a number of times before and keep coming back because he's the best! Unfortunately this time he was sick but Christos was an excellent substitute. We enjoyed the tour and he took us to the best restaurant for lunch - off the beaten track with delicious and generous servings. Driving was excellent and he was fun and informative. Alex is easy to communicate with, flexible on itineraries and always helpful and kind.
