What To Expect
Athens
Pick up from your hotel, apartment, Airbnb, Athens airport, or Piraeus port. We need about 1,5 hours to get to Sounio.
Limni Vouliagmenis
A small brackish-water lake fed by underground currents seeping through the mass of Mount Hymettus. The Lake is a mineral spa that is reported to have many healing properties for such ailments as eczema and dermatological diseases, neuralgia, headaches, disfiguring arthritis, chronic gynecological diseases, lumbago, sciatica and other problems. The lagoon formed approximately 2,000 years ago. It was once a large cavern that collapsed following an earthquake. The outline of the collapsed cavern roof can be clearly discerned from a distance. The lake is recognized as a wonder of nature because of its unique appearance and the surroundings.

He explained us how much time we had so we could organize what we wanted to do!if you want to spend a tour to remember you can ask for thanasis.

5.00We did a 5-hours tour to the Temple of Poseidon at Sounio and Lake Vouliagmeni with my family (4 people). The trip was very pleasnt and suitable for families. The temple of poseidon had an amazing view and we took many photos. Lake vouliagmeni was calm and perfect for relaxing. The quide was kind and explained the history in an easy way. It was great experieance and I would recommend this tour to other families.

5.00Yiannis was our driver, he was very knowledgeable and shared alot of history with us along our ride. The drive was beautiful slong the Athenian Riveria. We got to Poseidon's Temple just before sunset, it was breathtaking and everyone clapped when the sun went down. Great experience! Thank you Yiannis for a great evening.
