• Beautiful sunset at Poseidon's Temple

  I had an absolutely incredible day thanks to this tour! Vasilis, an exceptionally kind guide, picked me up from my hotel in his brand-new, spacious van. Our first stop was the Lake Vouliagmeni, followed by the iconic Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion. Then, we enjoyed a breathtaking beach. The whole journey was filled with engaging historical and mythological insights, and we ended the day watching a gorgeous sunset before returning to the hotel. Truly a perfect experience!

  Our guide was not only distinguished by excellent knowledge of the local area, but he also understood the mythological and historical background perfectly. I was able to have really amazingly in-depth background conversations with him, which was made possible by his excellent English. Furthermore, he had a fine sense of the needs of the fellow travelers young people without wanting to serve them unpleasantly in any way. So overall outstanding!

  What a fantastic day with Bill who picked us up directly from our hotel and brought us to many beautiful sites along the coastline of Athens!! Such a great wealth of knowledge and never a boring moment Bill went above and beyond to explaining all things and tell all stories well!! • Authentic Athens Tour

  This was the best tour we could’ve possibly imagined while staying in Athens. Roadwaves Odyssey is the tour service provided by the hosts of the AirBnb we stayed at - which was also a 10/10 experience with a picture perfect view of the Acropolis. Vasilis was our guide and he was on time, very excited, and drove a clean and comfortable upscale van. We started our journey at Lake Vouliagmeni and listened to the coolest story of the history of the site. Next we drove to Sounion to explore my personal favorite - The Temple of Poseidon. Vasilis was sure to explain the history of the site and some of the Greek Mythology attached to the gorgeous temple and surrounding landscapes/points of interest. After we got a coffee/beer at the temple, we went over to a local beach with gorgeous water and a beaming sun. Vasilis brought chairs/games/beach necessities for us which was extremely thoughtful. He also booked us a reservation at a beach tavern on the beach for a fantastic lunch that we will remember forever. Just when we thought the trip was over, Vasilis asked us if we wanted to try the best homemade Ekmek in Greece. We were stuffed from lunch but of course we had to try it and I ensure you it was worth the pit stop. The cream was the freshest I’ve tasted in my life, and I can confidently say it was the best dessert I’ve every tried. All in all, I could not recommend this tour more. The authenticity Vasilis shared with us was phenomenal. If you have the choice between a generic Athens walking tour or a trip with Roadwaves Odyssey - I would strongly recommend Roadwaves Odyssey.   This tour was absolutely amazing! We visited great views, food, the beach and more!! It was only me and my boyfriend that signed up for that day but Bill still gave us the tour and was unbelievably enthusiastic about the history and how well we were enjoying the tour. He was so kind and welcoming! I strongly recommend!!!

  We had a great time with this tour. Pick up and drop off on time. Plenty of time to explore the temple and then great swimming and beach time. Our tour guide Vassilis was informative and very kind.

  Vasilis took us to Lake Vouliagmeni, Poseidon’s Temple and to the beach. The tour was absolutely amazing. Vasilis’ knowledge about all the historical sites and about Greek Mythology made the tour even better. Highly recommended! We would definitely take another tour from him again.

  The trip to the Athenian coast was wonderful! Beautiful places and views, the Temple of Poseidon is extremely evocative. Our host and driver Vasilis was available, kind and flexible. He is a passionate guide to Athenian places and hidden treasures! The van was very comfortable. Highly recommended!
