4. Incahuasi Island (Not available in rainy season)
Giant cacti up to 10 m high are found on Incahuasi Island. The island operates a tourist reception center belonging to the commonwealth of Llica and Tahua municipalities. In this center is charged an entrance fee of 30 Bs. (Optional) to visitors to access a well-signposted and easily practicable trail that travels the island and allows you to enjoy the views over the salt flat, cobalt blue sky and hundreds of cacti.

What To Expect
Train Cemetery
The Train Cemetery is an abandoned train site. It is located southwest of the city of Uyuni, a few kilometers from the city center, and is said to be the largest railway cemetery in the world. There are a total of around 100 locomotives and carriages in the railway cemetery, the oldest of which date from the late 19th century. Colchani
It is a town on the banks of the Salar whose economic activities are linked to salt extraction, agriculture (quinoa royal), salt crafts and tourism. It is the obligatory stopping point on the way to the Majestic Salar de Uyuni, one of the peculiarities of the place is the construction of small houses made with salt bricks and one of its attractions besides the salt factory are the salt craft stands located in the main street. 5.00Beimar was our guide and he was absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend this excursion as it was one of the most breathtaking days ever. Everything was organised so brilliantly from the pick up to the drop-off. The day itself was very well organised and we managed to see so many different things. You really do get good value for money as you get a whole day of activities and our guide was super attentive and caring and he had a brilliant lunch and snack prepared for us. The coach that takes you to Uyuni from La Paz is extremely comfortable and the service on board is brilliant. You then have a whole day of excursions and exploration in Uyuni and then you are taking back to the tour guide office. The scenery and sunset is truly breathtaking and I can’t recommend this tour enough. It is well worth the money.

5.00Belmar was extremely knowledgeable and amiable. He went out of his way to accommodate us - for example I lost my sunglasses and he turned the car around and found them ten minutes later. He was funny and smart and seemed to really love his work. I highly recommend this option for your Uyuni tour.

5.00I have experienced so much in life, im a little Maori gal from New zealand and love adventuring, doing things out of my comfort zone and experiencing life in general.
