Cosy Corner is definitely a highlight of the entire track – you have to navigate along rocky ledges and around blowholes which makes it such an exciting section! Listening to the sound the waves make against the rocks underneath you is really awesome and don’t be surprised if you get sea sprayed! After passing Elephant Rock you’ll find yourself on Deepdene Beach – a 6km beach which can be boggy at times. You will leave the beach and climb up the sand dunes and away from the sound of the waves crashing
Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse
Narrow single tracks lead you to Skippy Rock and from here there is only 3kms remaining of your amazing adventure! I planned this road trip in February 2025, booking the flights with Qantas, Motothome rental with THL and all the stop offs through Booking.com. Our heathrow to Perth hop was pretty good, but one of the Quantas flight crew thought we were drunk and refused to give us any more small bottles of wine. We had only had 3 each over 10hrs! Hotel in Perth was good and we spent 4 days getting over jet lag. A visit to Rotness Is is a must. Freemantle is also a great place to visit. Our Motorhome pickup did not go well, the van was not ready at 0900 and we were fobbed off for two and a half hours with what they called a technical problem. Eventually they said the MH needed a change of tyres, well as they knew we would be travelling approx 3000 miles and had since Feb 2025 to sort this, we were not impressed with THL. Then when we had done our shopping and loaded the fridge with food etc, the flimsy shelves in the fridge collapsed. Another black mark to THL. The van was not clean the toilet cassette area had not been throughly cleaned and we took plenty of photos to show the rep for when we dropped off the MH. THL were not in the least bit concerned and we have never heard from them, AVOID this company. I would suggest that you research each of the sites to ensure they have a pool, I did not and was pretty disappointed when we arrived at some of our stop offs only to find NO POOL. We were travelling from Perth to Broome and most Auzzies are going the other way to avoid the heat and humidity. Crazy Brits eh? Another black mark to THL, at one time we had a problem with the van but in the middle of the outback the phone number they gave us was useless. Make sure you always fill up with fuel at every opportunity especially if you are going long distances like us. We only almost ran out of fuel once! Our hotel in Broome was exceptional, strangely enough we were 3 guests in two rooms and most of the hotel was empty. Broome is a wonderful place and everyone is so happy to live there. Looking at doing Southern Australia next, we will not be using THL this time.

My first time with OTBC, what an excellent experience. 7 day hike and 8 night stay. The tour guides were so professional ,friendly and helpful. Their knowledge of the area was superior.we travelled with a group of 9 people who quickly became friends and supporters of each member. The scenery was outstanding and the ocean was magnificent . The supplied evening meals were excellent. Our accomodation was lovely. I recommend anyone to not think twice, just go for it!

This was one of the best decisions I ever made to do this tour. I nearly pulled out a few times because I was worried I wouldn't be able to do it. The support from Heidi, Anji & Tracy was phenomenal. They are absolutely the best. Every day was amazing and the opportunity to take it all in and switch off from the outside world was so refreshing. We had an abundance of whales escorting us down the coast, dolphins surfing the waves and every wildflower imaginable - not to mention the million dollar ocean views. Being amongst nature is the best tonic imaginable. The feeling at the end, touching the Leeuwin Lighthouse can not be described. Such a feeling of pride and accomplishment. The OTBT crew made it so easy with lux accommodation and all meals provided. Well worth the money!! I would not hesitate recommending this tour to anyone and its suitable for all ages. We had a range of ages in our group. Absolutely LOVED it!!

From start to finish this experience was INCREDIBLE!!!! The whole crew at Off The Beaten Track WA we're amazeballs, from both the guides who were very attentive to making the trip as best as possible at all times to the behind the scenes support from the Director of the company herself, there was nothing I or the other guests were left wanting. Every detail was pre-planned and executed to perfection and even when there was a personal need to break away from the schedule and cater for some additional shopping needs, every effort was made to squeeze in the time to get our needs seen to. I would honestly and sincerely suggest that if you're looking to do the Cape to Cape or any hikes in WA, do yourself a favour and look up Off The Beaten Track WA!!!

From the time of booking right through to the trip, this hiking experience with Off The Beaten Track was a truly fabulous experience for me in every respect. The structured daily planning, beautiful and high quality accommodation, supremely delicious and plentiful food, knowledgeable and super friendly guides and attention to detail are all excellent and second to none. Add to that the stunning scenery of the hike itself and camaraderie shared by my five fellow hikers and the two guides made this a trip of outstanding enjoyment. I am looking forward to many more trips in WA with OTBT and to anyone thinking of walking the Cape to Cape, I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.

The 7 day Cape to Cape hike experience with Off The Beaten Track was everything we expected plus more! Walking on the long beach sections was amazing….just your thoughts and the sound of the waves. The Passion, Love and Enthusiasm from Tracy each day and also Andrew our guide absolutely made it a memorable experience. The views on the C2C speak for themselves, whether coastal or forest. Thoroughly enjoyed the week. Met some lovely people and made memories and new friends along the way. Thank You OTBT and fellow hikers.
